no

Nuclear radiation produces ionization of its own BTW. Around a core you will smell ozone.

Will using ionizers in homes and automobiles help to fight the nuclear radiation?

I have read some Internet people's comments that nuclear radiation is positive

ions. Thus the idea that negative ions from ionizers would cause the nuclear

radiation's positive ions to bind with the negative ions produced by ionizers.

The idea is that the nuclear radiation would be inactivated. Many air filters

make negative ions.

They dont know what they are talking about. The damage is caused when it collides. Besides Beta particles ARE electrons so how do they get positive out of that?

Try this
