Guest guest
The only way to know which works best is to try both and decide that way. For me, moist heat is a lot easier to handle that dry heat, but then again I live in the Midwest where humidity is a way of life. The only time I use dry heat is when I use a heat pad, but even then often I use a damp towel. My rheumy says to use whatever works best and that only I can decide what helps most. From: helen flatau <hlflatau@...>Subject: Sauna vs spaRheumatoid Arthritis Date: Friday, March 27, 2009, 1:21 PM I have used a sauna a few times, but for me, the hot tub/spa is all the difference betweeen being able to sleep and even walk sometimes.
