Guest guest
Hmmm... I use for all of my group emails. always tells you how many new emails you have, and sometimes is says no new emails, even though I have quite a few that haven't been looked at. It seems as though someone else is scanning them - and it is nobody from my house. It seems to happen a couple times a month. Anyone else experience this? Guest guest
I think the mail service is horrid and I think it has to do more with than being scanned, although nothing we send online is safe from prying eyes. Guest guest
I've had times where I couldn't get into my emails because it said someone else was using it. I've found out that friends had their IP addresses put on spam lists so I couldn't communicate with them. I've had the email say that I had new mail numerous times and no new mail was there. I also see the DOJ and the CDC monitoring my blog. I translated my blog into Chinese and have seen that it's read in Hong Kong and all sorts of places near China but it has never been seen in China. > > Hmmm... I use for all of my group emails. always tells you how many new emails you have, and sometimes is says no new emails, even though I have quite a few that haven't been looked at. It seems as though someone else is scanning them - and it is nobody from my house. It seems to happen a couple times a month. Anyone else experience this? > Jenn > > > > NOW and censorship WAS Pamper Petition > > > We live in Chi na and a few weeks ago there was a big gov 't meeting here in Bayjing (sic). That very week all services shut down mysteriously and no groups or email could be retrieved-- even by the normal proxies we use (to reach banned material like blogs, Ti*bet info, even at one time CNN online, etc) > > Well it's no secret that Chiena (sic) monitors incoming internet content rather seriously. They have over 30k employees devoted to the task. > > But it is my theory that made a special deal with the Ch govt and needed that offline time to route all their CH groups and email directly into the Go vt's hands. That is, I believe that now even private emails and group info is all being monitored by go vt agencies and, knowing , not only in CH but probably worldwide. > > And check out the below news story about turning over private emails to the CH govt. This was in regards to a man, who by the way, simply forwarded an email to human rights groups, got 10 years in prison....which is basically a death sentence. > > http://www.reuters. com/article/ businessNews/ idUSN06414333200 71107 > > > > > > > > Liora Pearlman > Moderator, Beiing Organic Consumers' Association (BOCA) > http://health. groups.. com/group/ beijing_organic_ consumers > > for President > > > > > > ________________________________ > Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
hi, BestI just viewed your blog. All blogs are banned in Chi na and one has to go through a proxy to view, so the country of origin may show up as something else.I'm curious to know if mine registers as China. I am using Witopia personal VPN but although I can see restricted content, sites I visit which say where you are, always still say China as my country of origin.Liora Pearlman Moderator, Beiing Organic Consumers' Association (BOCA) beijing_organic_consumers for President Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
A perfect example that makes me believe is capable of what is being said here; happened to me just a few weeks ago. I have several that I am a member of, and everyone that is vaccine related including the one I moderate, in some way (this one included) disappeared from my group list. All the other groups (which are cyber-school related) were accessible. I sent a complaint e-mail to basically accusing them of unsavory and illegal practices. Within an hour my vaccine related groups were back. This is not the first time that I have " lost " my vaccine (and autism) groups on . It wouldn't surprise me at all if is working with the government (any government, just name one) to monitor our activity on these boards.
