Guest guest
Dear Floyd, I can't thank you enough for "sticking you neck out" with that school nurse!! BLESSINGS ON YOU!!!! : - ) Keep up the good work!!! And, no matter what kind of flack you may receive, follow your instincts!! In your post, you speak of vaccination exemptions, but are concerned about where to find information about them. I wanted you to be aware that Natural Solutions Foundation does have an e-Book which has been available for about three or four months, now. If you type in Natural Solutions Foundation, that should get you to the organization's web site. From there, you can navigate to find the E-Book, Vaccination Exemptions, written by Alan G. Philliips, Esq. The initial monetary outlay for the book is $39.95, but I believe you will find it worth its' weight in gold because it has information for all the states and so it can be used wherever one moves within the U.S. It is written by an attorney who specializes in vaccine exemptions and has done a monumental amount of research on this subject. You need to know that most information on this subject is written by health care professionals--not attorneys--and therefore may give faulty information about vaccination exemptions. The author (and attorney) takes you through the entire vaccination exemption process; step by step, from beginning to end. It is written for the lay person and is very understandable. It also has a section listing web sites and links which may well be helpful. Given your position as a school administrator and the animated conversation you had with the school nurse, I suspect you may well find yourself seeking information from this authoritative treatise on numerous occasions; another excellent reason for having it at your fingertips at all times. : - ) In Solidarity, ~~Ruth/REU School Nurse I just had a conversation with the school nurse regarding two new students. It was my first "real" encounter with a health care provider that was so adamant about vaccines. She was saying that I as an administrator must make sure the students don't come to school without being properly vaxed. I told her that I WOULD NOT make any parent or child feel obligated to do such a thing and before she took it any further to find out if there is an exemption and if so, HONOR IT if not ENCOURAGE IT. I felt GREAT about my decision and our talk but it just let me further know that people have no idea what the truth is about vaccines and would push them on anyone without knowledge. Lets keep spreading the word! Guest guest
Totally agree Karla. Sad about that nurse, I hope she wins a suit! I asked my son's elementary school today about giving vax there and making sure my exemption made it safely from the old school and they said they never do, but in case of an epidemic he would have to stay out for a few weeks. Of course that being said with the reverse mentality that HE would potentially infect THEM (who were vaccinated). Which makes no sense because if they are vaccinated, aren't they considered safe in their eyes? The truth is, those who were vaccinated leak that energy (and more) onto others and infect them.
