Guest guest Posted October 26, 2008 Report Share Posted October 26, 2008 Hello, I'm new to this group. I've had RA for 9 years now and have been on Methotrexate and Azulfidine all this time. About a year ago, I tested positive for being exposed to TB and had to take a very strong antibiotic for 9 months. My blood work for liver function hasn't been good. My doctor told me to retest in three weeks. I did and it was worse. I haven't had a chance to talk to my doctor yet. I am a little worried about the liver damage. Has anyone ever had bad liver test results and if so, what happened? When I think about the thought of not being able to take my meds, I want to cry because I know what it's like when my RA has flared. I can't imagine not being able to take my meds.
