You are a woman after my own heart!!!! Unfortunately, I don't look for errors--they find me!!!! I realize that fingers can fly too fast or that when one is in a hurry, typos can and do happen; but... I've had to swallow hard so often I've lost count when it comes to some of the posts in this forum. I literally cringe. I couldn't agree with you more. I do wish there were more of us. It gets very lonely out there when you see apostrophes used incorrectly; along with the examples you provide. There have been countless times that I have started to read an article and I end up having to edit, proof, and rewrite the entire piece before I can read it for content. Often, I become physically ill.

My grammar and spelling usually are very good..better than the average

actually..despite my clumsy typos..

It is just that my fingers go too fast sometimes when I am typing..and

I dont stop to edit my stuff before hitting send sometimes...sometimes

I am up very very late responding to all of these posts (very

sleepy)..and then I don't notice my typos until after they are sent..

So I end up looking like an illiterate fool..

Enter the correct beginning letter and the correct ending letter and scramble the inbetween letters of several words in a short paragraph. The educated mind reads words as a whole and will interpret the correct word to complete the logical meaning for that paragraph. A beginning or a slow reader will read each word letter by letter in order to comprehend ..... and will not be able to do so if the word is scrambled.

SO..........that must mean that we on the list are all HIGHLY CAPABLE readers !!! since we all read what was meant.
