Guest guest
, all of the biologics are proteins and sometimes the body identifies a protein as a foreign substance to be destroyed. I don’t know what the body uses to identify “friend or foe” but we all know that our bodies have misidentified our joints as “foes”. Apparently in some people a combination of RA medications will encourage the body to identify the biologic as a “friend” and there is less likelihood of the biologic losing effectiveness. I’m not medically trained but this is how I understand things after reading about RA for some six years. God bless.
