Boceprevir Wins FDA Approval to Treat Hepatitis C

WASHINGTON -- The FDA has approved the investigational drug boceprevir

(Victrelis), in combination with peginterferon and ribavirin, to treat hepatitis

C genotype 1, making it the first HCV protease inhibitor to reach market.
