My son at age 14 tested positive for TB prior to starting Enbrel. We followed up with an infectious disease specialist. Rob then took INH (isoniazid) for 9 months before being allowed to start Enbrel. He's been on the Enbrel now for 4 plus years and doing great. Those 9 months waiting to start Enbrel were very hard. But so very glad that the rheumy tested him prior to starting the Enbrel. Its VERY important that you are fully treated before then.
