I have been on Methotrexate and Remicade for about 9 years with

quite good success. I started with Methotrexate and went up to 20 mg

weekly with mild success but could not get below 20 mg Prednisone daily.

We added Remicade at 300 mg every 8 weeks but then went up slowly to 700 mg

every 6 weeks and finally (about 6 months after first starting Remicade) I was

able to get off Prednisone. Since then I have slowly reduced to 10 mg

Methotrexate weekly and 300mg Remicade every 10 weeks. It’s been a

slow process but I consider it to have been very successful. God bless.
