Guest guest
Melinda, I looked at their website. The biological response modifier that they seem to be using is the homeopathic solution from Argentina called Hansi. I think that four or five months is a long time to wait around to see if something is working. They do not give the components of Hansi or any kind of a breakdown of remissions to progressions. They don't identify their clinicians or researchers. They seem to use this expensive secret homeopathic solution on just about everything. BTW, I bet you can't name anything that is not a "biological response modifier". BRMs include everything from food to sand. Lastly, the clinic puts a lot of stress on quality of life with the treatment. This is a euphemistic way of saying the patient is unlikely to achieve a remission. I remember that about ten years ago there were a lot of newspaper articles in Argentina about Hansi, and then it just seemed to drop from the horizon. I wonder if there are any wholistic researchers/practitioners in Argentina (who don't make a living from Hansi) who could give us a balanced updated overview. Another approach The intra-cancer injection of certain cancers - This is a method to help eliminate the cancer(s) by destroying the cells with the use of all natural biologic response modifiers. This technique is relatively new and is accomplished with the use of anesthesia and ultrasound. We have been able to eliminate prostate cancer, metastatic cancer of the pancreas to the liver, female breast cancer, and certain cancers of the lung and female adnexa. We have been somewhat successful in treating colorectal cancer by injection. It seems to be this technique of injecting cancers works better when the patient has not first had chemotherapy or radiation. The success of injecting cancer depends, therefore - to some extent - on the amount and duration of chemotherapy. Anyone have information on this approach that is used by The Centre for Immuno-Energy Therapy - http://www.hansi.com/#Centre. Sounds intriguing. Guest guest
Dear Dawn, Maybe you should try another approach with the Washington Post. Perhaps they will perk up to the fact that every six months, more Americans die from a PROZAC (only) induced suicide than from the terrorists attacks of Sept. 11.....and this has been going on for years. I am looking for horror stories about medium and long term use of Prozac. Sandi and I are still educating the 174,000 doctors in California by snail mail. There's lots of short term use stories, but I want to convince these doctors that Prozac has no real redeemable qualities. Anyone who has a story can email me direct or post it to PROZACVICTIMS . I have been extremely busy at work so I haven't had time to get www.prozackills.com up and running yet. When I do, it'll will focus on the negative aspects of Prozac. I'm going to make Eli Lilly's legal amd marketing teams work for their money. By the way, PROZACVICTIMS was set up by for me. I let it go to sleep when the Crusaders was born but resurrected it a while ago as a hard line group. It's pretty much gone back to sleep for another few weeks. I'm working out of town right now, so I have no time left to work on Prozac stuff for about two more weeks. If anyone wants to help track down the doctors addresses, please let me know. Guest guest
Re fitness and immune system Undoubtedly being in good health has great benefits, however I was in fantastic shape when I got this, and for many years after, and it does not seem to have bothered this malady one iota which kind of shape I was in. Good physical condition and immune system affects how I deal with it, though, certainly. And I need to work on it for THAT reason, as well as for my general health! katiejill > > A friend sent me this link. > > http://stopskinmites.com/index.html > > I only took a quick look at it and am not endorsing anything on it, but > it might be worth reading. > The body wash recommended uses " nanospheres " which makes me a bit > nervous because of one researcher's theories, but she had assured me in > a conversation some time ago that not all nanotechnology is bad (just > the kind she believes is behind all these mysterious conditions). > > One point that I believe the author of this article made is that the > person's own health and immunity is just as crucial in fighting the > condition as is treating (mis-treating?) whatever it is that > is " bugging " us. > > Bessie >
