Guest guest
I did Orencia two times . . . the second time I got so sick with flu like symptoms, I ended up in the emergency room the next day. The doc said they doubted it was anything to do with the Orencia (yeah . . . right). Before that I took Remicaid for several hours IV in the cancer treatment center. It helped marginally but not enough to justify the horrendous co-pay . . . then the last time I was being infused - my blood pressure shot sky high . . . I opted to stop the infusion. Then went to Humira which helped for about one month - then I was paying for it but receiving no benefit . . just side effects . . . To date I've tried every pharmaceutical for my autoimmune disease(s) except Enbrel, and still had to take two to four vicodin's per day. I've been on naltexone for nearly four months and haven't taken one vicodin . . .. maybe an ibuprofen occasionally. I'd say given what I've gone through and my disease(s) - that's a miracle by any medical standards! Of course I've stopped the soy, gluten, sugar. Eat healthy, walk and am active because I can be. Spirituality is important for my health and well being as much as good food and getting good sleep. The quality of my life is so improved it's beyond measure. Maybe naltrexone would be worth exploring if all else fails. I wish I'd learned about it sooner.
