Chills are often an indication of hypothyoid condition(low thyroid hormones).

Mercury is a major cause of hypothyroid and other hormonal problems, but not the

only one. Release and redistribution during chelation can affect this. You

can do a home test by taking your underarm temperature(tight under arm 5

minutes) before getting up in the morning, for a few mornings. If temp

consitently below 98 degrees indicates thyroid problem. A thyroid supplement

like Armor or LEP brand might help.

Even if you have normal thyroid levels, by blood test, you can be

functionally hypothyroid. Mercury makes thyroid hormone not useful to the body

functionally, so even though you have normal T3 and T4 levels

you can be functionally deficient. Similarly mercury can block conversion of T4

to T3, etc.

For my son, hand flapping was caused by B vitamin deficiency AND virus

issues. So you might consider anti-virals and see if that helps. I

use olive leaf extract and ViraStop enzyme here.

Yes, I don't have a temperature. The problem is after each episode my whole body is weak.

Any suggestions or ideas as to why this is happening. Has anyone else experienced this before, I have never had this problem before.

//I am wondering if anyone else is suffering from chills. //

I had the chills for a while after dropping about 30 lbs. I just

thought it was my body getting used to not having an extra 30lbs of

insulation. I get cold so much faster then I used to. I thought I

was one of those people who just loved the cold. I guess I was just

fat and hot.

Of course you may be getting sick, who knows. I would say if in a

couple of weeks, you are not sick but still getting cold quickly; you

are probably adjusting to the new you.

You know, you have lost a whopping 42 lbs in the last month. You're

doing great!

. I agree that chills and shivering could be a sign your immune

When I first went on Xolair  in 2005 I had United Health Care.  The plan we

had,  had NO deductible and my script was only $20 per month!!!!  I was ( still

am) getting   two injections every two weeks.

footnote: I now have BC/BC  didn't have any problems getting approval for the

Xolair with that change over.  Now I have a $3,000 deductible, which applies to

my medical part of my health insurance. BUT after that had been met BC/BS

covered it at 100%

I take 2 shots every 2 weeks and have had 5 treatments.

I have just started with mild chills and low grade temp this week.

I do have a sinus infection from a dental implant surgery.

I am just worried that I might have a problem with the Xolair.

Also, I have been on Unicare insurance and the shots are only costing

me $200 a month, today at work I found out that starting Sept. 1st I'll

have United Health Care. Anyone else have United Health Care??

Xolair has been great for me, I feel good and have already decreased my

Advair from 500 to 250 :)

Hi Jana,

I have United HealthcarePPO through Best Buy. We choose the highest

level they offered at my husbands job. (ee is Bestbuy)  My Xolair

shot is totally covered as is the med. I pay a $25 copay for my monthly

Xolair visit with my Doctor. Hopefullly this will be the same for

you.

Your sinus infection could be completely unrelated. Especially if

you might have gotten it from your dental implant. ^Talk to your doctor

about it and keep track things. Like do you normally get sinus

infections etc....

Oh by the way my shot is 2 shots monthly.

Best to you ,

Laurie

Hi, Laurel,

Yes, I, too, get chills after being affected with emfs.  It is an

adrenal/autonomic nervous system reaction.  (And I have constant ringing in my

ears.)  Pantethine and calcium AEP, as well as a vit D 3 supplement might help

you.  It does me.  Esp the D supplement helps with the chills.  It must be a

" solar " type D vitamin (more like natural vit D)--they are expensive to get one

that works.  Mine is from Carlson Labs.

Good luck, dear.

I have been spending WAY too long in front of (friend's) computer. Since I

started doing so, I now have constant ringing in my ears and more recently, I

have noticed I get VERY chilled.

Has anyone else experienced getting very cold around EMF? This area where the

computer is also is just above an electrical panel located in the cellar. TIA

Thanks Diane. I do have a Vit. D3 I took last night. Unfortunately, I do not

tolerate any minerals. I will write a separate post about that, as I wanted to

know if anyone else has this trouble also.

I also get chills and temperature irregularities around EMF. Vitamin D hasn't

helped me that much . If anyone else has had success with other supplements, I'm

all ears,

Hi, Laurel,

I do not tolerate most forms of calcium, either, but the calcium AEP works for

me.  Pantethine is B5 in an easier to assimilate form.  The calcium AEP +

pantethine helps my ES alot and I travel with these for when I have major

magnetic reactions, as the reactions involve blood pressure plummeting and

taking these 2 supplements with 12 or so ounces of water will stabilize my bp.

I sometimes have to take them 2 or 3 times (20 to 30 mins apart) for my bp to

return to normal, but I truly could not make it without these two

supplements.  Notice that the bp is also an autonomic nervous system/adrenal

connected problem.  I also have breathing problems and heart rate changes (also

auto nerv system/adrenal connected) from magnetic frequencies.

I know the calcium AEP might not work for you, but I highly recommend it for

anyone who can tolerate it.  I, too, reacted badly to this product at first.  I

had to get empty capsules, put miniscule amounts of the cal AEP in them, and

build up the amount over time.  (And I still had some reactions.)  For one

thing, cal AEP also kills off candida--which is how I started taking it in the

first place--so it can pack a wallop for several different reasons when you

first take it.  I am not trying to twist your arm on this.  If you read this and

still feel the cal AEP is not going to be tolerable, don't take it.  I am only

trying to explain how these work for similar autonomic problems incase you also

have those and might tolerate it.  I often find people who think they do not

tolerate supplements.  But on closer questioning, I have noticed alot of people

who say they do not tolerate them often are not using them correctly--either not

using the

correct form for their particular need or using too much and getting an

intolerable reaction (or too little and seeing no help at all).  Even changing

formulations or brands can make a difference.  So there are those who truly do

not tolerate various supplements and people who have not found the particular

supplement they can tolerate!  ;)  Does this make sense to you?  I do not

tolerate ANY iron supplements for instance, where iron is the only ingredient.

I can take Buffalo Liver supplements, where iron is high but it is mixed with

other components of liver.  I also must take these with vit C....

Walking outside in the sun helps the best, re vit D (we just don't have much of

that in Pa in the middle of winter).  This helps me to recover from ES stress,

in general, but can help with all the auto nervous system symptoms too.  (Of

course you will want to find a place near water or away from all cell/microwave

towers, etc, which can be fairly difficult to find these days.)  If you can find

a dry place to sit (on the ground) where you do not vibrate or feel

uncomfortable, sitting there for 20 or 30 mins, you will feel the stress and ES

drain out of you, too.  Electrolytes also need addressed tho, for me personally

(for the adrenal/autonomic symptoms).

Hope this is helpful,

Diane

HI Diane,

Thank you for your detailed response. I will look into AEP calcium. I also get

heart rate fluctuations and breathing problems at times. Sometimes it just comes

on and the source is not always easy to figure out. The other night, when the

small electric heater came on while I was sitting at this computer, started my

heart pounding hard and fast. I have noticed that I do not tolerate this

computer(here at my friend's house) when my friend's small TV is playing

upstairs or the small electric heater downstairs here is running. I usually

start to burn and sting. But the other night, it affected my heart. Perhaps some

other strange symptoms is also about the autonomic nervous system. The symptom

is too bizarre to explain.

I do not tolerate certain supplements, while others I do tolerate. I have been

dealing with reactions to just about anything you can imagine, for years. The

intolerance to minerals is a different kind of reaction than a chemical

sensitivity type of reaction. The minerals seem to draw in electricity into my

body.. just as iron does in other people. I find that if it is a MCS reaction,

the amount of substance does not change the reaction. However, this type of

reaction to minerals is not a MCS type of reaction.

I did try molybdenum last night. I only took a bit out of a capsule. The

supplement only had one other ingredient, so it was not as risky to take. I did

do ok. I also took one drop of magnesium chloride. I do notice my arms stinging

right now being on the computer. I always forget to time myself and end of

spending much too long on it.

I am in NY State, so I understand about not getting enough sun in the winter.

Since becoming EHS, I have noticed that I do not tolerate the sun either(at

least this past summer I did not).

I did not get on the computer yesterday at all, nor the day before and I noticed

I am much warmer. But as I type I notice that I am getting colder the longer I

am sitting here. There is so much EMF in this corner where the computer sits.

This is another great post of yours. I am about to start taking some vitamin D3

supplements, since they seem to be beneficial for so many things, not least

immune function, and last week I was mulling over and doing my electrosensitive

" review of the year " nad the only time I felt any way well and able to function

with only limited ES feelings was during May this year when we had a 4 week very

hot spell, which in fact as it turned out was acutally our summer [summer in the

UK didn't happen for most this year due to very heavy rainfall]. And before

that, I last felt well when I went on holiday for a week by the sea and after

your post I'm thinking that it must have been the vitamin D on both occasions. I

know that sunshine is better than tablets, but hopefully tablets are better than

nothing at all, so I'm hoping the Vitamin D3 can do something for me.

Best wishes

Hi again, Steph,

Calcium AEP has amino ethanol phosphate added to it.  I am sending a site which

explains abit about it and the site where I order it.  There are other companies

which sell this, but this is the one I use.  Byron s is the nutritionist

I mentioned in another post who worked with me via phone calls.   He was much

help and I repay him by buying his Cal AEP.  ;)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2AEP

http://www.wellnessresources.com/products/calcium_aep.php

You can google Calcium AEP and find all sorts of problems which people report

this nutrient is good for.  I personally think it is the best form of calcium

for lymphatic, adrenal, auto-immune..... problems.  I could not take most other

forms of calcium at all.

Hope this helps you,

Diane

And try not to get Vitamin D2, as D3 is supposed to be better.

I've not found any noticeable benefit to taking D3, but perhaps

I'm not taking enough. Although when I tried taking 3000 IU,

I got cloudy urine (???)

But I do feel in the summertime, so there certainly may be

something good about Vitamin D obtained via the sun (or

maybe it's just the heat and humidity)

Since this is all new and not quite confirmed I have been reading tons of

material and seem to remember something about the chills.

I know when I was having a really bad painful time I was getting a slight wave

of chills off and on. I am better right now but I noticed having the chills

yesteray once or twice and then twice today. I would say a light wave of

chills, nothing like you get when you are sick with the flu or something.

Anyone else know anything about this.

Thanks,
