Guest guest
For something as serious as this, I would definitely get a second opinion, maybe a third. Clear skies, BeingIrish
Guest guest
Another site I follow has a forum on surgery and arthritis. I’ve not had any surgery so I know nothing about it but if you look through and post on that site someone may be able to help you. I hope you get good answers some way. God bless. http://community.arthritis.org/forums/Forum1817-1.aspx From: Rheumatoid Arthritis [mailto:Rheumatoid Arthritis ] On Behalf Of vivien_yf Sent: Thursday, September 10, 2009 8:25 AM Rheumatoid Arthritis Subject: Joint replacement revision I have both knee and both hip replacement few year ago. and have right hip revision in year 2005 after my fist right hip replacement in year 2002. recently I need to have another revision for my right hip again cause of my bone crack. The doctor tell me maybe cause of some infection on my bone. so need to take out the implant and put on antibotic, and i need to suffer on hospital at least 6 weeks for injec antibotic. after all that done, then will only do the third revision for my right hip. because of my bone very thin, this operation is very complicated, and if not success, I may can't have another surgery cause of my bone too thin. I don't know what can I do now, should I go look for other option? anyone can give me some advise? No virus found in this incoming message. I am from Malaysia. I have look for the 2nd opinion, the doctor said is a bit risk to do 1 step operation, because they not sure weather it is infection or not, but still can do it. so, i might want to take this risk.
