Re: Orencia Side effects (Canker Sores)

I just wanted to update that I'm still having a terrible time with canker sores

after starting the Orencia but my Dr. prescribed something called " 's Magic

Liquid " and it really seems to work lol. From what I can tell it's a mixture the

pharmacists puts together consisting of benedryl, malox, lidicane, and

tetracycline. You swish it around and spit / or swallow it depending if you have

sores in the very back or throat.

The Orencia is working nicely other than that...and I've had 6 infusions with my

next being this Friday

A quick Google search makes me wonder if this is a specific product with real controls. I think it is worth further checking before you take the plunge. I dont know either but Im using it and it's working My dr. wrote it like a

normal prescription that I turned into the pharmacy..and it's like a real

prescription label and all that calls it " mary's magic liquid " lol but I did

find it odd that I got no paperwork with it ...no warnings, no ingredients,

nothing. I instantly tasted the malox after taste and could tell there was a

numbing agent but the rest I discovered online..and only assume it's right.

I just called my pharmacy to actually ask what's in it and was told that it's a

mixture presciption tailored by the writing doctors requests. I was told it

usually always has benedryl, hydrocortisone, nystatin, tetracycline, she said

then sometimes it has malox and a few others depending how the dr. writes it.

She said it's fine to use and supposidly really works :)So far seems to be

true:)
