Guest guest
Hello Kathy, I am fine now, thank you. I don't know what the lumps are on the top of your mouth. I hope work turns out well for you which ever way it ends up going. All you can do is give it your best shot. It is basically out of your hands now anyhow. Either you can or can't. So try not to stress too much on it, that just makes something worse that you have no control over anyhow. If you can't do it, no biggie, bcs somehow it WILL work out and you WILL be fine! Guest guest
I have a lazy boy type chair on wheels but it isn't bathroom transportation. I have to walk and drag the IV with me. And it's a long walk when you're dragging that thing and have to go! We also have a TV but it is NEVER turned on! Much to my dismay. Bcs most people prefer to sleep and read. Most of them are on benedryl anyhow and are zonked out in about 30 minutes. Otherwise, I visit with the ones that are awake and the nurses. I am currently emailing one of them. I'm kinda her pet! When one of the nurses asked what day was good for me for my next appt. said TUESDAY! Bcs she works those days. hehe.. She even had me come back in the nurses area while she ate lunch. =) Be sure and take snacks with ya! ~Rainy Sue

Guest guest
Why is Jesus better than Santa Claus? Â Santa lives at the North Pole ... JESUS is everywhere. Santa rides in a sleigh ... JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water. Santa comes but once a year ... JESUS is an ever present help. Santa fills your stockings with goodies ... JESUS supplies all your needs. Santa comes down your chimney uninvited ... JESUS stands at your door and knocks, and then enters your heart when invited. You have to wait in line to see Santa ... JESUS is as close as the mention of His name. Santa lets you sit on his lap ... JESUS lets you rest in His arms. Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, what's your name?" ... JESUS knew our name before we were born. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads. Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly ... JESUS has a heart full of love All Santa can offer is HO HO HO ... JESUS offers health, help and hope. Santa says "You better not cry" ... JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you." Santa's little helpers make toys ... JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions. Santa may make you chuckle but ... JESUS gives you joy that is your strength. While Santa puts gifts under your tree ... JESUS became our gift and died on a tree.... The cross. We need to put Christ back in CHRISTmas, Jesus is still the reason for the season. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 3:16 Â

Guest guest
a Thank you. I think its four days of prednisone, but I had to take it. I am soooo upset at how far back these antigen shots have sent me. Janet
Guest guest
I ended up in the ER last night because of my reaction to the antigen shots I was taking. My asthma came on with the rain like it used to. These have put me backwards in my recovery. They also found by chest Xray I have started bacterial pneumonia in the right lobe of my lung. So I left with prednisone for my reactions and Zithromax for the bacterial pneumonia. How much damage are these pills going to do to my already fragile system? I am so upset that these shots put me back to a year agos symptoms. I was recovered some just by leaving my job but still couldn't handle old building and damp days. Thanks,Janet Janet, nothing is foolproof, but Zithromax is a pretty safe antibiotic. Hopefully they will give it to you long enough to treat the infection. The prednisone is another matter. It can make the infection worse as it suppresses the immune system. Hopefully you can get off it soon. Keep us posted on how you do. a

Guest guest
WHY! did you HAVE! to take prednisone???? It is a very HORRIBLE drug with a list of side effects longer than an ape's arm! Why all the drugs? You are caught in the gears of "the system"! You would do much better on a bowel cleanse and a juice fast. Do a web search on Ann Wigmore's energy soup! Really! Guest guest
Dr. S. could you post the study on LDN and its reverse of the tolerance to opioids, if you have it I would be interested. I have MS and have been on LDN for just over 3 month and have greatly decreased my pain. Was a 12 Advil a day man until LDN, now have taken only two in three months and for a headache. My brother is bed-ridden with MS and heavily pain medicated. I think if he could just get of the pain meds he could find some relief from his MS. He will not try LDN as he is dependent on the pain meds. Guest guest
Hi Doug, Glad to help in any way I can. Briefly, I am licensed as a Clinical/Forensic Psychologist in Alaska. One of my specialties is the treatment of chronic pain, which includes hypnosis for pain control, psychotherapy for the same and lifestyle/nutritional changes for pain control. I have an MD I work closely with, to whom I refer patients for opioid pain medications. He is also my personal doc. I presently take 80 mg. of oxycodone/day, 20 mg. QID. I have been through pain clinics in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and LA. I have been on Methadone, MS-Contin, Oxycontin, and all the regular short acting opioids. I do not like the extended release formulations at all as they cause severe insomnia but of even greater concern make me crazy and violent.. As an aside, I am a Vietnam era combat veteran, and while taking the extended release morphine, killed a large dog with an aluminum baseball bat. The long acting formulations cause somnambulation and somnarticulation. I woke up one night in the state of WA, upright, choking out my wife, while in a full blown PTSD dream, with every intention of terminating her. She managed to rouse me, wake me up, and when I realized what was happening I fell apart big time, crying uncontrollably. I immediately flushed all my remaining MS-Contin. The withdrawal syndrome I experienced until I saw my MD again was minor and insignificant when compared with the emotional pain I experienced from what might have happened. In summary, I returned to the short acting oxycodone with no problems whatsover. However this bring us to the crux of my note. I want to be able to take less oxy with better analgesic effect. The paper I referred to is a " News Release " dated 06/06/02 from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine entitled, " Einstein Researchers Report on Safer Narcotic Painkillers that Prevent Dependency, Withdrawal Problems " I found it by running a Google search with something like, " decrease opioid tolerance/hyperalgesia + supplements + medications " Something like that. Please stay in touch and let me know if you find any additional information. Hope this helps. Robb Stokes, Ph.D., FACFEI ursae@...
