Guest guest
What is the connection between RA and FM? It seems when someone has pain symtoms that do not respond the medicines readily, the ortho people jump to Fibromyalgia as a diagnosis, or non-diagnosis. If you have RA do you automatically assume fibromyalgia as a part of it? This seems especially important if one is seronegative RA. I had a sed rate off the chart when I was diagnosed, but previously had never had more than a slight elevation. Otherwise, no serological support, but some hand symptoms. I, by the way, LOVE the parafin bath that I bought at a yard sale. When my hands ache, it is sooooo sooothing. Ice packs before hand makes it even more effective for a longer time.
