Guest guest
I forgot to mention along with all the other problems. I am discovering my memory has gone on vacation & forgot to leave a forwarding address. I can't remember anything, If I don't write it down right away I forget less than 5 minutes later. Which is very bad at work since I do all the ordering I forget as soon as they tell me what they need. Is this the meds affecting me or the RA?? Guest guest
Kathy, Sounds like your are describing me. I, too, have all of your listed symptoms alng with being very stiff in the mornings and after sitting, or being in the car for any time at all. Anemia has bugged me off and on for the last four years. I really hate the constant feeling of heaviness or fatigue. Seems to shorten my day. I was always so full of energy and could go day and night. And, now, I'm about to whine; My baby sister, who lives in Arizona, has been given a confirmation of a RA diagnoses. As a single parent for ten plus years, I felt my Mom was my only support through this crap! But, now it is all about the baby sister. I feel absolutely drowning in a deep hole with no hands to hold on to. Without this lifeline of a support group I'm sure I would have given up and sunk to the bottom to stay! Thanks to all who are so kind and uplifting.
Guest guest
Kathy- You have had such a miserable time of it - particularly since last fall. Am praying that your disability goes through and you will have less pressure. It would be helpful if you had a doctor who was more supportive of your application. Hugs,
Guest guest
Ruby, jesse's other symptoms besides the normal JRA/RA symptoms are that he is very tiny. at age 12 he is 52 inches tall and weighs in at 60 pounds. shelly
Guest guest
why do i always have to defend myself with this? i was feeling pretty good for awhile, so i got some painting and yard work done. i knew when i did this it was stupid because it would aggravte my symptopms.but i figured i had to get them done before returning to work if that is the case. so of coarse yesterday i felt kind bad. twisted spine. hunched over, dragging my leg, knuckles swelling, even though it was a shot day. well of coarse i ran a fever last night an my neighbor stops over to see if i wanted to walk. of coarse you have a fever. it's 5:00, you always run a fever then. she was being her normal sarcastic self. urgh!!!! kathy

Guest guest
Kathy, I understand about having to defend yourself where your illness is concerned. I have been doing that for jesse for a very long time. also runs a fever almost daily at about 2pm. Some people will never understand unless they walk in your shoes. Please remember that your neighbor stresses you out and as with , stress makes him much worse. I have gotten to the point of blocking phone numbers from kids who call jesse and then they go to other peoples houses and call from there and do star 67 so now i pay out 20 extra dollars a month for Privacy Director which means that the person calling has to give their name and i have the choice to accept the call or ignore it. I have even complained to the school cause the one child that does it is in 's class and she even lives in the same park as us so he gets it all the way around. What iam saying is if your neighbor isn't gonna be helpful or understanding then maybe you need to shut her off so to speak. Kathy, you have been through so much i just don't want to see you suffer anymore. good luck, shelly

Guest guest
Thanks, a. It is hardest at night when I have had to get up because it hurts to lay down for too long. I often wake after an hour or two and can't go back to sleep for hours. That is when I feel so alone. It has truly been remarkable to be able to log on any time and read postings. Guest guest
, It sounds like me too. Sorry to hear that your sister also has RA. Since she will know first hand what you are feeling, maybe she will become part of your support group too. You always have all of us, so please don't sink into that hole. It's much to dark and lonely there. When you feel like you're sinking, just holler and someone here will throw you a line. a ----- Original Message ----- From: Mhynes123@... Guest guest
, My symptoms indeed began with persistent digestive problems. I had just about every gut problem you can imagine (I'll spare everyone the gory details!) after every meal for about 6 months before the other problems started. In fact, doctors initially thought I had Crohn's disease or celiac, though thoseeventually got ruled out. I later learned through testing that I have a " leaky gut. " After taking L-glutamine powder for almost a year, my digestive symptoms are virtually gone, though others have persisted (though greatly improved on AP). Guest guest
Obviously you got my message but I got it back saying that you couldn't get it because of a mail loop. I have no idea what that means. I will look up the other things that you mentioned but from what I have been reading CMT symptoms fall right in line with all the problems on my Mom's side of the family. I think I have just been misdiagnosed over and over because no one could really decide what I had. The Mono and Tick borne diseases were true as blood work was able to prove them but all the others, or at least most of them, are just best guesses based on symptoms or some signs in some blood tests.I don't care what it really is just so I can find out for the grandkids. I don't want them to go through life like my Aunt Pearl. She lost all ability to walk, use her hands, etc. and never knew what would happen next. She always had great difficulty walking and had the gait that everyone seems to talk about. She would have been a great candidate for braces if anyone had figured it out. I guess I am getting discouraged too because I find myself in more and more pain and more and more often dealing with weakness in legs and hands as well as pain. Is it typical for the pain and weakness to come and go periodically and get worse when it returns? You have been great to answer so many questions. Thanks for taking the time. I hope I don't repeat myself. I get tired and forget what I have asked, I think. Helen
Guest guest
AMEN!! After 1.5 years of chelating our daughter's hair test finally did NOT meet the 'counting rules.' Are these symptoms gone? some of them. I know we have a long way to go. She's 19. Thank your lucky stars for those years of youthful intervention that you have with your little ones and please stay with it. Family, tons of family, saw her at Christmas time and most were asking 'what happened to her?' 'she's talking to me' etc. This from a group that doesn't want to hear about the vaccine issue even though many definitely dot the spectrum. Guest guest
I have or have had ALL of your symptoms from working in a moldy basement. As long as you subkect yourself the sicker you will det. I now have asthma and cant even handle the mold iin the wet ground. I have to wear a mask in old buildings. The shipyard put me out on disability. I used to have joint pain and muscle paiin even in my chest, so bad I could not turn over in bed. I have had so many sinus infections that my sinus xat scan looks like a train wreck. And if I am in a moldy building too long? I cant even put two words together. Below is where I worked. Its a year later and I am still sick. Better then when I worked there, but still sick. Guest guest
What color is the mold on the tiles? These symptoms are common for mold exposure. I had every one of them except the hives, but I had lung problems. Allergy meds will work for a little while, but then the toxic effects take over. Anything else you add to your body at this point will just add to the toxic load that your body has to get rid of. In September, I started a job in a high school as a teacher's aid. In October I came down with a bad case of hives. I still have the hives. I also have unexplained fatigue, headaches, joint pain, problems concentrating, swollen hands and feet, multiple sinus infections, nose congestion, red burning itchy eyes. There is visible mold on the ceiling tiles of my classroom and visible water damage in the gym. Are any of these symptoms shared by anyone out there? I have another appointment with the allergist today. I've been on medication since October for the hives, but my symptoms are just getting worse.
