with new meds , pain control and insurance.

Please let me know how you are and if this site provided any added info that

would help you.

I read these boards every so often and get most currenct and up to date

information on anything I want.

Just getting sympathy is fine but you really need to speak with some hard

hitters.

I enjoy participating in that site and the girls all don't have RA.

there are a variety of arthritis complaints and even a few great guys,

like Ian and Ken that participate. It is a wonderful board and has been

really hopping lately with the new drugs being approved for use. We all

are constantly searcing for reasons and similarites to enable us to

learn as much as we can.

I have found something by accident that works really

good with the dry skin. It is called Biosilk and made

by Farouk System USA. Also says on the bottle Cure

Soyeuse, Locion Con Seda with an accent mark over the

2nd O in Locion..french for lotion. I originally

bought it for my hair. I was reading the directions

on it the night I was told about showering and not

towel drying and to apply lotion when itching. 2 ozs

of it cost about $10.00 I think but it goes a long

way. It is good for your scalp too. I got it at

Kroger, but you can find it at beauty supply places

had got my daughter some at one. I think it cost more

at the beauty supply. You might be able to find it

anywhere I don't know I have not looked. It is a tall

slender plastic bottle with a inward curve on the

right side the Biosilk word is in gold lettering and

is vertical the other writing is in black and is

horizontal. It also has a long vertical curvy line in

black between the writing, and a black squeeze bottle

lid. All you need is a little drop and smooth it on

hair and skin and use more when you are doing a

different area of the skin. Try it, it is working

great for me. It does not leave the skin feeling

greasy it feels silky and smooth. Let me know if you

all get it and what you think. I have stopped itching

since using it, and another plus my skin feels silky

Hi, Joy!

I have had candidiasis for my entire life -- not diagnosed until I was 38 years

old. Doctors (who meant well but knew little) put me on Nystatin. This was

bad. I found that drugs are the worst things, and the natural approach is the

best thing.

Well, you must immediately stop the Nystatin -- it just drives the yeast

monsters deep into the tissue of the digestive tract, etc. You can only get to

them with electrotherapy. To do this, get and read " The Cure for All Diseases* "

by Dr. Hulda (put Hulda in as a keyword on your internet browser and

you will see her website(s) where she talks about the " zapper. " ) At any good

health food store or book store, you can order this book. You can order one (a

zapper) from " Self-Health Resources " listed in the back of the book,

" Cure.....Diseases " . The nine volts of electricity kills the yeast cells in

the tissue but does not harm humans. (Don't worry -- I have done it many times

and continue to do it -- you hardly feel a thing at all, and neither will your

daughter.) When you get the book, " The Cure... " look up the section on

candidiasis (there are a few, be patient and you will find it).

I would also stop the Diflucan -- it is a drug (candida patients do best without

drugs) and it is not good for the liver (candidiasis patient especially need to

be very good to their livers -- Dr. describes a liver cleanse towards the

back of her book* -- look for it)

Also, I would suggest, besides the anti-Candida diet, JUICING. This is so good

because you can use garlic cloves and counteract the odor with parsley. This is

a juice creation I like to make, which also kills off yeast: (There was a guy in

another candidiasis e-group who claims he CURED his candidiasis by going on a

strict juice-alone diet -- vegetables only - juiced. I think he was not lying.

Of course, he probably used fiber with this.):

6-7 stalks of celery (good for nervous system, bones,

etc)

1 bunch parsley (green chlorophyl, vitamins, minerals,

etc --good!)

2 cloves garlic (kills yeast, stiimulates the immune

system, etc)

This drink given several times a day, will help. There are other juices which

are very good for us -- I think a combination of equal amounts of

turnips/beets/cucumbers is a very good juice for the LIVER!

Also, a good cleansing/antiparasite program is in order. PARAGONE is quite

good. It is pretty strong, and probably strong enough for a child, but not too

strong for a child. Follow directions in the box for dose per body weight.

Also, a good fiber supplement is important. I just recently found " Daily

Essential Fiber " by Spectrum. It is WONDERFUL. This, used in the morning, and

evening, and also possibly before lunch, is highly beneficial. Just read the

great ingredients on the label. It is the best.

Good water in between meals is important (never drink fluids with meals -- it

dilutes digestive juices and can cause indigestion.)

Also, the usual vitamin supplements are important, as well as regular

acidophilus. Most acidophilus is best utilized by the body when taken AFTER

MEALS -- ABOUT 20-30 MINUTES AFTER MEALS. The digestive tract is more ACID at

that time, and after all, 'acidophilus' MEANS 'ACID-LOVING.' Something else the

doctors just didn't get. (O well, they're just feeble humans, eh?)
