1st Orencia Treatment (happy/sad)

Hi Everyone -

I've been laying low waiting for my first Orencia treatment. I did my IV iron

infusion and got my iron levels back close to normal so the hematologist

released me after one infusion. YAY! :-)

I had my first Orencia treatment last Friday. Thirty minutes in and out and I

felt wonderful. I couldn't believe how good I felt. Unfortunately the good

feeling only lasted 12 hours and then I was back to my old, achy, paining self

that I know and love. So, I will have two more infusions 2 weeks apart and

start the once a month kickoff.

Did anyone else's blood pressure drop after the infusion? Right after the

infusion I was 99/64 and that may be because----I wasn't hurting.

I've heard on the average it takes 3 - 6 infusions before Orencia really kicks

in, has this been the case with everyone else?
