Sorry to hear about your foot. Hope it improves soon. I've had 3 shots of simponi thus far. I'm off my methotrexate because I had major abdominal surgery end of January and got a nasty UTI. Without the methotrexate, my simponi is not working as well. The simponi was working well in tandem with the methotrexate, at least as well as the orencia I was on without the side effects. Humira never did work for me. Enbrel worked spectacularly for me until I seemed to get 'immune' to it. I was on Enbrel before the Humira, then when Humira failed went to Orencia and now Simponi.
