Guest guest
Hellow, I'm doing fairly well with my RA. I've been riding my excercise bike for 3 months and walking for 30 minutes when the weather/time permits. This last week I've struggled making myself ride my bike because it's getting really boring, so I want to add some variety to my exercise plan. Does anyone know of a good low-impact aerobics DVD that worked for you or someone else who has RA? I've looked used Google and didn't find any useful info. I looked at Amazon which list different low-impact aerobics DVDs. However, I worried they will end-up causing me to have pain in my ankles, knees and wrists. Looking on-line, I've read that jogging (which I know hurts me) and lifting heavy weights isn't for those of us with RA. I did find some articles that mentioned low-impact aerobics, but I can't find a DVD geared towards RA patients. I wish I could attend an Arthritis workout at the swimming pool, but the time they are offered don't work with my schedule. Thanks, Jean
