Guest guest
I had several side effects from MTX, including severe upset stomach and sometimes headaches. I also noticed that pain/inflammation increasing the day before I took my pills. However, since my RA doc switched me to injectible MTX (comes in vials with syringes, like insulin shots) all of those symptoms have gone away. The vial form of MTX has really made a HUGE difference. Most ins. companies don't cover the vial form; however it's super cheap! ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Guest guest
Hoorah for this group. I missed the cough importance until I had written and submitted the mouth sore help with Folate. We all need to recall that our rheumy on anything listed. My office is ready to call back quickly, although not all rheumy's are so good. ANY cough deserves a medical review when on MTX. As noted, problems can come on fast and furious. We often get used to dealing with pain, mouth sores, aches, issues, and neglect to call lest we become a hypochondriac, but MTX is serious medicine.
