Guest guest
Hello RA friends! CentocorOrthoBiotech, the makers of my infusion Remicade, developed a web based talk show profiling stories of people living well with RA (some on Centocor drugs and not). To view the fruits of my participation visit www.newwayra.com. Click on Real People, Real Stories and from Virginia. You have to register to view the videos so I have included the transcripts below my signature in case you don't want to register. In the nature of full disclosure, Centocor paid for my travel (coach on Amtrak) and 2 nights at a hotel in Philly but otherwise this was a volunteer effort for me. I hope that my participation in this project gives other RA patients the hope I was looking for when I was diagnosed, instead of just the horror stories I found. Take care,Steph~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Never underestimate the power of a small, dedicated group of people to change the world -- indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." I always seem to suffer from itchiness (all over) a day or two after my Orencia treatment. Doc says not a big worry. Does anyone else get itchy and if so, what do you use (topical) to get rid of the itch. I might have asked this before, but it’s 3:30 a.m. and I’m weary. karenbeykecomcast (DOT) net
