RE: Orencia Side effects???

Canker sores are a side effect, but also of

MTX, I believe. I take three prescription strength folic acid tabs a day and

it helps.

I remember vivid dreams in the beginning,

but I’m not having them now, about 2 years later.

Orencia Side effects???

I've now had 6 infusions of Orencia and can finally

say it does seem to be working! YAY!! I'm off my prednisone and am still doing

ok...not GREAT but definetely ok and am so happy to be off it. I had taken it

daily for 2.5yrs.

The weird thing is, Im having a terrible time with canker sores now. I usually

have at least 1 and sometimes several at a time. I always have one and they are

big and hurt. I thought it was my 10mg of mtx so I stopped it too, didnt help.

This really started to be a problem after my 3rd infusion. It has to be the

orencia. The other weird side effect Im having is vivid dreams. Not necessarily

scary dreams just weird ones, alot of them which is very unusual for me.

Anyonelse?

Of course, you need to check with your doc…s/he

might have other ideas. Salt water rinses helped me, too.

I used to have canker sores quite a lot and my wife got me some Lysine that seems to have solved my problem. It comes in a small tube but it seems to last forever.
