I chuckled reading about 's Magic Potion. After beginning Orencia, I called

the pharmacy near the University where I worked for almost 25 years. I " needed "

a supply of " Special Gargle " because of mouth ulcers. This had always worked.

The pharmacist told me he had lost the recipe, that the Health Service no longer

used it. But it always worked! It is NOT this recipe, and had some phenol, oil

of peppermint, eye of newt, etc. It was a clear medicinal smelling mouthwash

that cured anything throat or mouth!

We also used much less frequently the recipes shown for Magic. I believe

everyone who got it got better too.

Does anyone have a recipe for " Special Gargle? "
