Guest guest
if it weren't so one sided, and deceptive as far as lying by omission (at least) goes on the part of the pharmaceutical industry i could see their point too. but since it is the only point i see is that you better watch out because the boogy man of germs is going to get you and make you VEEERRRYYY sick (dark scary music and scene playing) unless (the sun comes out and butterflies flutter by a rainbow above a meadow) you get your child vaccinated, vaccines are the answer - its the law - you're a law breaker and neglectful if you don't. they're gonna get siiiiiccckkkk i don't know of any kids who are vaccinted who get coughs and go to the hospital, do you? ;-P i know i'd personally rather be sick and miserable coughing a fit for a week (and be getting proper wholistice medical treatment) than get diabetes from my vaccine that is supposed to protect me, or any of the other vaccine ailments that are possible, and still have a chance of getting the sickness i was vaccinate against too. nobody wants to see their kid sick, i sure don't, but i don't believe vaccines are the answer to that concern. and i know of LOTS of sickly fully vaccinated kids. *smile* chris > I can see their point though. > >
Guest guest
pretty impressive list of attacks against vaccine naysayers. several points are notably missing in all these articles: 1. in many/most illness outbreaks a vast % of children are already vaccinated. only 1 example of 12 children getting sick without being vaccinated was noted. 2. the economic factor. big pharma has a major stake in the vaccination program. billions of dollars to them who are held harmless--thank you george bush! for any damage from their toxic drugs. 3. the propaganda factor which included the medical profession as well as the general public. people have been brainwashed by the same psych/social mass manipulation that bernays used to create public desire to support corporate consumer product buying. ignorance is not bliss. 4. the liability factor: just as with flouride and dentists who won't change their support of fluoride use for fear of lawsuits, the medical profession, that makes oodles of $$$$ from vaccinating defenseless babes, will not change position for the same fear of lawsuits as well as loss of public confidence. but these medical fields do change their minds very often as new drugs come on the market and will candidly say that they 'used to do thus and such, but now they know different or better with alledgedly new research.' so why not with vaccines! it seems that when any discussion of the fear tactics and mis information occurs, it is just as important to note the way that people are brainwashed into fright and compliance. it is amazing how many people are unaware of the intentional mass manipulation that occurs in our culture. it is also frightening to me how little people understand of the workings of this society and its history that support the top 1% which today is always corporate, impersonal, and anti-nature. duh! it can't be patented. Guest guest
Here is some info. Ingrid http://psychrights.org/articles/LevineLillyandBush.htm http://www.newmediaexplorer.org/sepp/2003/09/10/washington_under_the_pharma_lilly.htm Excerpt from editorial Jan, 2003 ....Enter Bill Frist in the wake of disgraced Senator Trent Lott. Frist, formerly a surgeon, has been tapped to be the new Senate Majority Leader. On the eve of Lott's racist self-immolation, the Homeland Security Bill made its way through Congress. Originally a Democratic concept, the legislation to create a Homeland Security Department to defend the nation against terrorism was graced with a number of strange amendments. Oddest among them was an amendment protecting the pharmaceutical corporate giant Eli Lilly from any and all lawsuits pertaining to their manufacture of thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative for childhood vaccines produced by Lilly for 40 years that has been connected to the development of autism in children. Thousands of families seeking redress for the neurological disorders their children suffer have been sent packing, because Lilly has a contract with the U.S. government to provide vaccines against biological weapons. One hopes thimerosal is not included in the processing this time around. Early in 2002, Bill Frist tried to get protection for Eli Lilly from these suits attached to legislation that would increase the availability of vaccines to average Americans, but this attempt was thwarted by Senator Kennedy. The Homeland Security legislation mysteriously found itself amended to carry the Lilly litigation protections, written in language virtually identical to Frist's original attempt. The bill passed, and no one in Washington DC is willing to take responsibility for it. Frist, whose ties to the corporate healthcare industry are blood ties, whose family made its fortune through the massive Hospital Corporation of America HMO, who helped scuttle the Patient's Bill of Rights, whose book was promoted and distributed vigorously by Eli Lilly, denies all knowledge. The White House likewise denies any knowledge of the author/sponsor of the Lilly amendment. This stretches belief, considering the ties the Bush administration has to the pharmaceutical giant. Herbert Bush sat on the Lilly Board of Directors during the late 1970s, appointed by the father of Bush Sr's. vice presidential candidate, Dan Quayle, who owned controlling interest in the corporation. Bush Sr. was personally ordered by the Supreme Court to stop lobbying the IRS on behalf of Lilly for tax breaks in 1982. The Bush family has been substantially invested in Eli Lilly stock for years. White House Budget Director s is a former Lilly executive. Disgraced Enron CEO Lay also sat on the Lilly Board of Directors, until he was forced to resign in disgrace in December of 2001 after his company exploded in a blizzard of fraud and deceit. During the 2002 election cycle, Eli Lilly gave more campaign money - $1.6 million - than any other pharmaceutical corporation, 79% of which went to Republican candidates. The Lilly amendment that found its way into the Homeland Security bill in the immediate aftermath of that election can be seen for what it is: a payoff. These are facts in the public record as we roar into the brave new world of 2003. These are facts that the mainstream television media will not share with you I agree with everything, but I'm a little confused on how Bush got singled out? scare tactics pretty impressive list of attacks against vaccine naysayers. several points are notably missing in all these articles: 1. in many/most illness outbreaks a vast % of children are already vaccinated. only 1 example of 12 children getting sick without being vaccinated was noted. 2. the economic factor. big pharma has a major stake in the vaccination program. billions of dollars to them who are held harmless--thank you george bush! for any damage from their toxic drugs. 3. the propaganda factor which included the medical profession as well as the general public. people have been brainwashed by the same psych/social mass manipulation that bernays used to create public desire to support corporate consumer product buying. ignorance is not bliss. 4. the liability factor: just as with flouride and dentists who won't change their support of fluoride use for fear of lawsuits, the medical profession, that makes oodles of $$$$ from vaccinating defenseless babes, will not change position for the same fear of lawsuits as well as loss of public confidence. but these medical fields do change their minds very often as new drugs come on the market and will candidly say that they 'used to do thus and such, but now they know different or better with alledgedly new research.' so why not with vaccines! it seems that when any discussion of the fear tactics and mis information occurs, it is just as important to note the way that people are brainwashed into fright and compliance. it is amazing how many people are unaware of the intentional mass manipulation that occurs in our culture. it is also frightening to me how little people understand of the workings of this society and its history that support the top 1% which today is always corporate, impersonal, and anti-nature. duh! it can't be patented.
