Posted by Ken Lauher on Wed, Aug 11, 2010 @ 07:15 AM   You may have heard many times that life is not a destination, but a journey. Even after we discover our true life purpose, we must invest time, energy and knowledge into pursuing it. With every moment, we become a different person, with new experiences and new perspectives. We are always learning. However, when we pay close attention to what we are learning -- what we choose to permit into our sphere of influence and assimilate -- that is when we grow closer to living our best life possible.When we read a book today, what we learn from it will not be the same as what we will learn if we read it years from now. That's why it's a good practice to re-read our favorite books every few years -- to see what else we may get out of them as the person we are today. Opportunities to LearnIt's also important to seek out opportunities to learn, through books, eBooks, programs, courses and mentors or other people close to us. Everyone can be a student and everyone can be a teacher. Learning (and teaching) opportunities may present themselves in the most surprising places, if we commit to being present and in the moment at all times. The wealth of material that we can learn from may seem intimidating. If you're not sure where to start, just pick a book that seems interesting. You may be surprised at what it can teach you.
