Guest guest
The Experience of Opening to Channel By DL Zeta There are different types of channels. Some people go into a type of sleep and remember nothing of what was said later. Those whose conscious awareness disappears during channeling are called unconscious or trance channels. Unconscious channels usually enter into such deep states of relaxation that they have no recall of their guide’s messages. Usually, they receive the energy of the transmission but are unable to recall later what their guides have said. Your recall of channeling will vary depending on the nature of your trance state. Some channels remain partially conscious. Because they can remember some of the transmissions, they are called conscious channels. These people are aware to varying degrees of the information as it comes through. Some may have a sense of their guide’s messages but little memory of what specifically traspired. Some compare it to remembering dreams since their memories fade very rapidly afterwards. They might remember the information just as they come out of trance but are unable to remember it an hour later. Some channels have very light trances, remember what is said, and feel very alert during channeling. The experience of most people falls somewhere between deep, unconscious trances and fully alert states. I believe it is best to remain conscious while channeling. If we are conscious, we’re able to bring through the higher wisdom and light of our higher self directly into our own awareness and consciously use the information to learn and grow. Those who remember what transpired during their channeling generally feel a great richness that surpasses the actual meaning of the words. They feel as if they are in expanded states of consciousness where every word has greater meaning than they may have been previously aware of. Sometimes the words are accompanied by feelings of traveling. Sometimes they have feelings of internal shifts to higher vibrations. Some say channeling is like being in vivid dreams, full of action, in motion and often color. Some say they feel a part of other realms. Some say they feel expanded physically, larger than normal. Some say normal words become pictures which are translated into richer and more complete internal languages. Some feel as if whole balls of information are dropped into their minds, containing complete packages of ideas which they slowly unravel as they speak the messages. These “thought balls” are sometimes downloaded into one’s consciousness upon awakening from a dream, but they are also received during trance states.
