Guest guest
HELLO everyone-- I got my MRI results and the DR says it looks okay. He is still concerned with my headaches and arm pain. So, I am waiting to get scheduled for discograms. He wants C3-C4 C4-C5 C7-T1 done. I AM FREAKING OUT! I have heard that these are very painful. I am scared. I turn 32 on Saturday, and I am SO SICK of being in pain. I have headaches all the time. It seems that most people think I am " exxagerating, or inflating " my pain and symptoms. I have a question for everyone with neck problems--I have an area at the back/base of my skull on the right side that swells to the size of a golf ball and the throbbing is horrible. I rotate ice packs and cornbags to help shrink the blood vessels at the opinion of my PT, but it usually on ly takes away a smidgen of the pain. I am at my wits end. The pain shoots up the back of my head and wraps around to my eye. IF it is the worst--then it goes up both sides. Some days I wake up and I don't feel horrible, so I might try to be the " old " who stayed busy all the time. WEll, then I am down for days. I am on antidepressants and yet I just want to curl up in a ball and cry. I am not the person I used to be. I am a mom of 3 sons--and I am miserable all the time. It just depends on the severity. My house is a mess because I cannot do what I used to do. My husband is not much help because he has an artificial disc in his lower back (L4- L5). He is 31. I am hanging on my a thread here.
