Guest guest
Hello ! Thanks for checking in. Haven't been on a lot lately. My pain has been very bad and these headaches/migraines are really driving me insane! Stress seems to make these worse. I have mentioned before that my mother has lung cancer and alzheimer's, and I have been on the phone trying to help out as much as I can long distance. She has reached the point where she can't be left on her own and trying to shedule help to come to her house and be with her. I am planning on going there (Chicago) in the beginning of February (now contimplating my sanity over this..going from 80 degree weather to winter weather is going to be a killer!! I hate the cold, and it hurts...what was I thinking?!) and will stay for a couple of weeks to give my sister a hand with things so she can get away for a weekend. I'm not even sure if I can handle much in the way of helping mom out...I have visions of us both on the floor in my attempts of helping, but I'll give it my best effort, try to not take my ambien c.r. for sleeping so I'll hear her if she starts to wander and call one of my friends for help if I need to...because pain also gets worse if I don't sleep enough. Right now I am just praying for strength to help me thru everything. How have you been doing? You have been on my mind the past couple of days which is what prompted me to come and check in here. Hope you're doing alright. Will keep scrolling to see how you're doing and everyone else too. All my best wishes to you all! Guest guest
Hi , I'm really sorry to hear about your dad. Heart problems aren't easy to deal with either. My father in law has been going thru that too. My inlaws live down here, but he flew to the mayo clinic for his surgery, and had a couple of episodes where he had collapsed once home and we almost lost him. It's really scary to deal with. I'll pray for you too that you find the strength you need to help, as well as the peace and understanding in your heart that you'll need to get thru this. It's not an easy place to be in, especially when the ending outcome is what it is and the best we can hope for is to just make things easier on them. I know the pain you are in, both physically and emotionally...and pushing ourselves to the limit isn't helping us pain wise but it is necessary right now and we will make it thru. You are in my thoughts and prayers, also for your father to heal. Try to take things slow and easy. I am here to talk if you need to vent...I understand! (I cannot even imagine that much snow!! Brr!) Love, light and lots of hugs! Debbie , i am about doing the same as you!!! i remember your mother > was sick. that is alot of stress, good luck and try to hang in there. > i have almost the same type of situation here, at least its not long > distance. dad is getting worse heart failure, and more nutty, and i > picture me on the floor too!helping. just like you said. i dont feel > good either and on top of it all theis last month we had 75 inches of > snow.
