UPDATE: mandatory flu shot

Just wanted to update you... remember the health system i work for came

out mandating employees had to have a flu shot this year?

Well got a letter from doctor stating due to my medical hx and past

difficulty with flu shot she was recommending I not get the flu shot.

Took letter to occupational health office today and was told it wasn't

good enough. Reason stated has to be one of the CDC reasons and has to

be spelled out explicitly.

So my doc and I are working on a new letter. I don't even want to know

what my blood pressure is at the moment.I'm beyond ticked off. It

should be enough that your physician says no shot. I should not have to

discuss my medical diagnosis or hx with them or detail what my problem

with the flu shot is..... its none of their blasted business.
