You and You Alone

For you and you alone,

I put beyond words into written.

How within you;

Iris the name and Iris the flower are wrapped into one.

How beneath the softness of your skin,

you are a universe-

With dancing colorful stars as heartbeats,

and full autumn moons as your eyes.

When you speak, laugh, or silently smile,

I watch galaxies being born

as they pass your lips, so full and sweet.

How you wear Heaven itself as an Easter dress.

Such a perfect fit!

And the magic or miracle in which you are.

How you and you alone

make me smile, make me feel alive

and make my pains dissappear.

Both of my body as well as my mind.

I have yet to find even a God

which could come close to the blessing you are.

I feel secure and certainty with you

as I have with no other.

No fears or worries.

No hesitations or second thoughts. You are real.

I feel special because you are special,

and my heart is building you a home.
