Guest guest
Dearest Lynn, You and your daughter are both in my prayers. I also send a cocoon of healing light, and lots of love. Sometimes when people feel awkward in a situation, they'll do things that were not expected. I believe that perhaps your friends were also hurt by what happened to your daughter, but didn't know how to express that....and came across as doing/saying the wrong thing. I've seen people do strange things time and time again....mainly because of fear, but underneath they're probably hurting/grieving just like you are. I know it's hard to believe, but it is possible. You and your daughter are in my prayers for all the healing you need. Love and lots of hugs to you both, > > I am asking for prayers for my daughter and myself. > > My daughter was raped by her ex- 2 weeks ago. She won't talk about it and says she just wants to forget it ever happened. > > I was devasted by what happened to my daughter and when I reached out to those I thought were my friends to share the pain I was feeling for my child's hurt, I was genuinely surprised and discouraged by their reactions. Some couldn't be bothered to let me talk. Some never returned my calls. And one said horrible, toxic things like " she must have asked for it " , etc. > > I ask for prayers of healing and help for my daughter that she may open up and share with someone...anyone...for the sake of her emotional and spiritual health and well-being. > > And, I ask for prayers of healing for I have lost faith in my friends...lost faith that others have compassion...and lost faith in myself. > > With gratitude for your heart-felt prayers, > Lynn " ManyFires " >
Guest guest
Dear : I am so grateful and I deeply appreciate your prayers of Healing and Love...and your Compassion. In times like these, sometimes all a person needs is Compassion. Knowing that someone cares can make all the difference. I believe what you say about people behaving in an unexpected way in situations like these. I wish I could say that I understand it...but I truly don't. Maybe I will...later. Wopila, ...Wopila.
