Guest guest
I don't notice having symptoms around the time for my next shot, but I have found the last two or three times that for about a week and a half after my shot, I seem to have some symptoms. Because we have had such crazy weather and pollen counts and mold counts this summer--at times very low--other times very high--it is hard to know whether it is the xolair or whether it is just that the air is saturated with allergens.....or it could be just stress--I've started taking care of my four year old granddaughter full time while her mom does her student teaching! She is a doll--very good--fun--I count it my pleasure and privilege to take care of her--but I know that my stress level has gone up too, since I am also responsible for seeing after my 92 year old mother. So I can't tell if the increase symptoms (which still are not bad at all) are a result of the timing of the xolair or the timing of the stress elements! I'll check it out next month and keep a record of symptoms as related to the timing for the shot. I just know that overall I am not using my albuterol hardly at all, now, whereas before xolair I was using it at least 2--4 times a day. Adah " Becker, " <nbecker@...> wrote: I am glad other people may be having the same experience! My asthma was not really not that bad to begin with with before xolair, but I probably used the albuterol at least once a day and then I noticed hey...I am not using it! The last few days my asthma has been worse than normal...Just had an allergy shot or maybe general allergies are getting to me and it's not related to the xolair. But I get my 3rd shot next Friday too. Just trying to figure it out. Thanks for your input! ________________________________ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of haroldbrenda Sent: Friday, September 07, 2007 12:56 PM Subject: Re: [ ] --- Every time I had a xolair shot it would wear off just a few days before, as well. Guest guest
My son recevied benefits from his first shot. He went from having chronic hives to none and relief from asthma attacks. He did experience the feeling of the Xolair wearing off before his next injection for the first six months. uca79iii <bme1979@...> wrote: --- In , " Becker, " <nbecker@...> wrote: > > I was wondering if anyone has experienced signs that the xolair has been > wearing off right before you are to receive the next injection? Usually, it takes people months to see any results whatsoever. It took me over a year. I always feel better after my regular allergy shots. Sometimes, I feel a tad worse just after my xolair shots. Guest guest
Hi: Yes, it does wear off 4 or 5 days before the next shoot. Kathy " Becker, " <nbecker@...> wrote: I was wondering if anyone has experienced signs that the xolair has been wearing off right before you are to receive the next injection? More asthma symptoms before the next shots. I have only had two shots and I was convinced that I was using my albuteral less often but the last few days I have had to use my inhaler again. The other thing I was wondering, do any of you think allergy shots may cause you to experience more allergies wheezing and sneezing? I am starting to think they may be making things worse for me. Guest guest
A woman who works at my health food store did a cleanse and she also said she passed a huge dead worm. Yuck. But good to be rid of it. Amber Someone close to me did one last Saturday, and expelled triangular stones described as " shards of glass " , and felt like hell for two days, but at the same time thankful cause there was what looked like a dead worm. Guest guest
We never put any fabric softener on our bath towels or washcloths. You see this same effect when you hold a washcloth in the stream of water from the shower. Judith Alta Janet wrote: My husband’s Aunt n passed this on to me. A lot of good tips in here. Janet ***************************************************************************************** PLEASE BE SURE YOU READ THE LAST ONE ABOUT THE CLOTHES DRYER!!!!!! GREAT TIPS: 1. Reheat Pizza Heat up leftover pizza in a non-stick skillet on top of the stove. Set heat to med-low and heat till warm. This keeps the crust crispy. No soggy micro pizza. I saw this on the cooking channel and it really works. 2. Easy Deviled Eggs Put cooked egg yolks in a zip lock bag. Seal ; mash till they are all broken up. Add remainder of ingredients , reseal , keep mashing it up, mixing thoroughly. Cut the tip of the baggy , squeeze mixture into egg. Just throw bag away when done - easy clean up. 3. Expanding Frosting When you buy a container of cake frosting from the store , whip it with your mixer for a f ew minutes. You can double it in size. You get to frost more cake/cupcakes with the same amount. You also eat less sugar and calories per serving. 4. Reheating refrigerated bread To warm biscuits , pancakes , or muffins that were refrigerated , place them in a microwave with a cup o f water. The increased moisture will keep the food moist and help it reheat faster. 5. Newspaper weeds away Start putting in your plants, a nd work the nutrients in your soil. Wet newspapers; put layers around the plants overlapping as you go; cover with mulch and forget about weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic - they will not get through wet newspapers. 6 Broken Glass Use a wet cotton ball or Q-tip to pick up the small shards of glass you can't see easily. 7. No More Mosquitoes Place a dryer sheet in your pocket. It will keep the mosquitoes away. 8. Squirrel Away! To keep squirrels from eating your plants, sprinkle your plants with cayenne pepper. The cayenne pepper doesn't hurt the plant and the squirrels won't come near it. 9. Flexible vacuum To get something out of a heat register or under the fridge add an empty paper towel roll or empty gift wrap roll to your vacuum. It can be bent or flattened to get in narrow openings. 10. Reducing Static Cling Pin a small safety pin to the seam of your slip and you will not have a clingy skirt or dress. Same thing works with slacks that cling when wearing panty hose. Place pin in seam of slacks and -- ta da! -- static is gone. 11. Measuring Cups Before you pour sticky substances into a measuring cup, fill with h ot water. Dum p out the hot water, but don't dry cup. Next, add your ingredient, such as peanut butter, and watch how easily it comes right out. 12. Foggy Windshield? Hate foggy windshields? Buy a chalkboard eraser and keep it in the glove box of your car. When the windows fog, rub with the eraser! Works better than a cloth! 13. Reopening envelope If you seal an envelope and then re alize you forgot to include something inside , just place your sealed envelope in the freezer for an hour or two. Viola! It unseals easily . 14. Conditioner Use your hair conditioner to shave your legs. It's a lot cheaper than shaving cream and leaves your legs really smooth. It's also a great way to use up the conditioner you bought but didn't like when you tried it in your hair.. . 15. Goodbye Fruit Flies To get rid of pesky fruit flies , take a small glass fill it 1/2' with Apple Cider Vinegar and 2 drops of di sh washing liquid , mix well. You will find those flies drawn to the cup and gone forever! 16. Get Rid of Ants Put small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They eat it , take it 'home', can't digest it so it kills them. It may take a week or so, especially if it rains , but it works & you don't ha ve the worry about pets or small children being harmed! 17. INFO ABOUT CLOTHES D R YERS The heating unit went out on my dryer! The gentleman that fixes things around the house for us told us that he wanted to show us something and he went over to the dryer and pulled out the lint filter. It was clean. (I always clean the lint from the filter after every load clothes.) He told us that he wanted to show us something; he took the filter over to the sink, ran hot water over it. The lint filter is made of a mesh material - I'm sure you know what your dryer's lint filter looks like. WELL...the hot water just sat on top of the mesh! It didn't go through it at all! He told us that dryer sheets cause a film over that mesh that's what burns out the heating unit. You can't SEE the fi lm , but it's there. It's what is in the dryer sheets to make your clothes soft and static free - that nice fragrance too, you know how they can feel waxy when you take them out of the box, well this stuff builds up on your clothes and on your lint screen This is also what causes dryer units to catch fire and potentially burn your house down with it! He said the best way to keep your dryer working for a very long time (and to keep your electric bill lower) is to take that filter out and wash it with hot soapy water and an old toothbrush (or other brush) at least every six months. He said that makes the life of the dryer at least twice as long! How about that!?! Learn something new everyday! I certainly didn't know dryers sheets would do that. So, I thought I'd share! Note: I went to my dryer and tested my screen by running water on it. The water ran through a little bit but mostly collected all the water in the mesh screen. I washed it with warm soapy water and a nylon brush & I had it done in 30 seconds. Then when I rinsed it the water ran right through the screen! The repairman knew what he was talking about. PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO OTHER PEOPLE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK. NOT ONLY COULD IT SAVE SOMEONE'S HOME , BUT IT COULD SAVE SOMEONE'S LIFE. __._

Guest guest
I think the smell would knock me over. :-) I was just talking with a friend today who has an efriend with a rare lung cancer. I told her to have her take MMS (especially as it seems that MMS does such wonderful things for the lungs, usually right off the bat) and to also nebulize CS and DMSO together. I didn't think anyone would be able to tolerate the AMMS in a nebulizer--though perhaps if it was diluted enough, or maybe even straight MMS in water in the nebulizer, without acid activator. But--CS and DMSO have already had such a stellar performance being misted into the lungs that in a case like the lung cancer I would be hesitant to experiment with misted AMMS. Guest guest
Thanks , daddyb, MN, Kathy, It struck me as a very scary idea too. It's plenty caustic just going down the gullet. And yes, the smell is awful even from a distance. I wonder if it could be diluted enough, but I kind of doubt it. And compared to some of you gutsy folks I'm a Casper milktoast so I don't think I'll be the one to try it anytime soon. But I never heard of nebulizing CS and DMSO. That's an interesting idea. How do you do that? How much of each would you use? Naomi Re: [ ] I think the smell would knock me over. :-) I was just talking with a friend today who has an efriend with a rare lung cancer. Guest guest
, Yeah, I guess it's one of those 'compared to what/who' things. Or maybe desperation, fedupness, and getting to a 'gotta do something even if it's wrong' place. And it is true that there are some who react with sheer horror at some things I do. But if I told them some of the things I read others are doing....Oh my...!! Naomi ps probiotics...I'm trying paradophilis because JH suggested it. Can't tell what it's doing. I suspect fermented products like kimchi, uncooked sauerkraut, fermented raw milk products are probably the best. Re: [ ] Casper milktoast. How funny. Guest guest
I remember someone said feeling tired after taking MMS , I do to ; do you? . I also remember someone wrote that fluoride tooth paste being bad for the thyroide because fluorine chlorine bromine iodine are all in the same atomic class and fluorine can subsitude iodine in thyroide function causing a drop in hormones level. I wonder if chlorine in MMS can affect hormones level causing fatigue. I do look older after taking MMN consistent with the hormones theory and also my eyes dont look so dark consistent with a lighter parasite load. One of my book says that a average persons has more virus bacteria and parasite than normal cells in his body and their total weight can be measured in Kg , one does not want all that do die in one night making him even sicker than he was
