One Year Anniversary Edition- July, 2010

 

 

One year ago, OM Times Magazine launched with Judith Orloff gracing the cover.  The magazine was started because we found that the Humanity Healing Network newsletter was not big enough to highlight the incredible depth of talent of the members of our network. 

 

Our goal was to create a Holistic Green E-zine with a Spiritual, Self-Growth Perspective that would act as a vehicle to share the writing, art and music of our friends to a broader audience and act as a catalyst for personal and community transformation.

 

What do we see for the upcoming year?  More growth (readership, not pages – 208 is a lot of work, but this is a special issue).  More interesting features.  More opportunities to share the talents of more members of our networks to more people.  In short, more MORE.

This month, OM Times is better then ever.  In our Anniversary Edition, we have the privilege to have on the cover two interesting individuals that have been dedicating their lives to Peace and Understanding among people. The versatile n Lennon gives OM Times a reveling overview of his dreams, plans and future projects. Read about it on page 21of the Multimedia Edition.

 

The other individual is Creme, the president of SHARE International. With his life dedicated to education and the awakening of Human consciousness, he is a clear example of balance between the Mystical Vision and the Initiated Path. His thought provoking interview can be found on page 96.

This edition is packed with  relationship advise and tips on how to deal with the many issues that are affecting us both individually and as a whole.

Compassion in Action

 

 From Hervey Bay to Uganda

This year's " Walk of Inspiration " (July 4th, 2010) fundraising charity event bridges Hervey Bay and global communities through Compassion in Action.

" Every step taken for the wellbeing of others, echoes in the heartbeat of humanity "

 

This year's annual Walk of Inspiration, continues to positively affect the lives of those who are less fortunate in other parts of the world. Funds raised will be supporting a number of initiatives through Humanity Healing including the building and development of eco-villages for IDPs (Internationally Displaced  Persons ) refugees of war-torn Uganda. Other initiatives include, education and economic development for women and children, health education for young girls and women, self-sustaining farming and community development as well as human rights concerns in Uganda, Africa.
