Walking was a major chore. It took everything she had just to get out of bed; she was in so much pain. Guest guest
I think it's telling that Aspertame was "discovered" while researchers at Searle were looking for an anti-ulcer drug. A researcher touched his finger contaminated with Aspertame to his mouth and discovered its sweet taste. I think it says a whole lot about the process that one of the researchers accidentally tasted it... If you want to know why something with so questionable as Aspertame got approved. I subscribe to the theory that the fact Rumsfeld was CEO of Searle when the Reagan administration reversed its earlier rejection by the FDA had something to do with it. http://www.experiencefestival.com/a/Aspartame_-_Discovery_and_approval/id/611688

Guest guest
I believe .....it's in our best interest to eat as little artificial foods/chemicals as possible (I'll stick to sugar and stevia) .....information sent through email forwards is generally inaccurate .....the aspartame poisoning story is unsubstantiated, inaccurate, and exaggerated .....asparatame is likely bad for us, but not the universal evil outlined in the email being forwarded http://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/aspartame.asp
