Guest guest
The Health of Your Tongue As a practitioner of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture, tongue diagnosis is one of the great tools I use to understand the association between the inner workings of the stomach and digestive system as well as get an overall picture as to what is going on with the body as a whole. I always feel that it is better to see other tongues in order to understand your own. This web site can give you a better visual of tongues and what is expressed to you by what you see. Take a good look at your tongue in the mirror. Look at the color of the body of the tongue, the coating on the tongue and its color. Note the edges of your tongue...does it have a coat, no coat, is it scalloped? Look at the tip, the middle and the back of the tongue. What do you observe? Now click on the following site and you will get greater insight as to what your tongue is telling you about your health: http://beyondwellbeing.com/herbs/tongue-diagnosis.shtml This is Acupuncturist, Al Stone's site. Al is located in Santa , Ca. In order to understand some of the terminology, ie: Dampness, phlegm, cold....take a look at Chinese medical terminology on my site, here: http://www.peacefulmind.com/proacumed.htm In Happiness, Pacholyk, MS, L.Ac. http://www.peacefulmind.com Therapies for healing mind, body, spirit
