The Health of Your Tongue

As a practitioner of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture, tongue

diagnosis is one of the great tools I use to understand the

association between the inner workings of the stomach and digestive

system as well as get an overall picture as to what is going on with

the body as a whole.

I always feel that it is better to see other tongues in order to

understand your own. This web site can give you a better visual of

tongues and what is expressed to you by what you see.

Take a good look at your tongue in the mirror. Look at the color of

the body of the tongue, the coating on the tongue and its color. Note

the edges of your tongue...does it have a coat, no coat, is it

scalloped? Look at the tip, the middle and the back of the tongue.
