Guest guest
I would recommend a serries called the Treehouse Kids. They are based on history, but really fun to read also. Then there is the Boxcar Series. Goosebumps are popular, but my kids aren't allowed to read them. What you might want to do, which I do with Maverick, is when they hand out the Scolastic book fair things at school, get one for the third grade level readers and find what is interesting to him in there. I also found a Bible, that is written on a 3rd or 4th grade reading level..more for ESL, looks like an adult Bible, as opposed to those specifically written for children. I go it for Mav and he uses it in Confirmation. Good luck with your new one. M.

Guest guest
Hi, A good series on a 3rd grade level are the Magic Tree House Series by Pope Osborne. Another good series are the Boxcar Children. Another are The Littles. Look at the Magic Tree House books (can get them in any book store and Nobles, Waldens, etc.) and then find other books that he's interested in that look that those- print size and length of the book. If I think of others, I'll let you know.

Guest guest
>Anyone have any suggestions? Some books my third grader has enjoyed in the past year: Magic Treehouse (historical fiction) Time Warp Trio Series (fantasy, sort along the line of Magic Treehouse) Nate the Great (mystery series) Cam Jansen (mysteries) A to Z Mysteries Droon (fantasy) Another tip is to type these books in at Amazon and see what others who've bought these books have bought. Guest guest
I have been given book recomendations before, but unfortunantly I have forgotten then (as life usually is when kids are around) can anyone give me a good reccomendation for informative books that are non-biased on the vaccination issue. Also, does anyone know where I can find the Denmark vax schedual? TIA, L.

Guest guest
Hi ! I highly recommend the Vaccine Safety Manual by Neil Z. - you can purchase this through Sheri Nakken (she receives a portion of the proceeds to help with her efforts with education). It contains information derived from the CDC, FDA, WHO, peer-reviewed medical journals, studies - both flawed and accurate, etc. It also contains over 1,000 sources for you to further investigate at the library. Awesome book on every vaccine! Guest guest
" Vaccine Safety Manual for Concerned Families and Health practitioners " by Neil Z. is an excellent place to start. It is very thorough, and goes through each disease and the vaccine(s) purported to prevent it. Also has a history of vaccine, lots of charts, etc. On Thu, Jul 10, 2008 at 7:08 AM, <wcjslee@...> wrote: > I have been given book recomendations before, but unfortunantly I have > forgotten then (as life usually is when kids are around) > can anyone give me a good reccomendation for informative books that are > non-biased on the vaccination issue. > Also, does anyone know where I can find the Denmark vax schedual? > TIA, > L.
