*Helping Those we Love

One of the greatest challenges we have is our desire to help the people who are

close to us; our family, lovers and friends. This can create a difficult moment

because often even those closest to us do not understand what we mean by true

healing - it means change. This can often be so far from their own reality that

they may judge the experience which in turn, places judgment on us. Sometimes

their conscious mind can not handle what might be uncovered during a healing

session. Sometimes they have not really asked for a healing, just for help. An

inner part of them is seeking answers and all we want is for them to ask for

our help. How do we watch on the sidelines when we just know we can be of

assistance?

Experience says that most people fear everything they do not understand. If we

are working with any type of spiritual modality, then for sure the majority of

people around us will not understand, which leads to even more fear. So how do

we help those who ask us to help and remain available to those that don't? How

can we be of assistance to loved ones who have a disease (like cancer) and

remain energetically safe while allowing them to be creators of their own

creation?

The only way we have found to help a person who has a health issue would be to

help clear the energy or consciousness that is causing the disease. Then we can

assist them to find their own understanding of why they attracted the energy in

the first place. This gives them a choice of releasing all the different ideas,

projections and energetics that might be holding them within their own issue.

Unfortunately, we have found that most people do not accept themselves as a

creator. It is easier to be the victim.

After all, how can anyone accept that they created cancer? What would be the

purpose? As we have seen in many cases, one gets a disease or a sickness and it

takes them on another path. It is while they are on this path they find

themselves. They find the knowing. They find the peace. Their disease has taken

them into a place where they evolve and maybe become more than they were

before. This is certainly not the way we would have encouraged them to learn.

What should we do when we are in our space, loving ourselves, and upsetting

events happen in our community or someone asks for our help? Get involved. We

can make our compassion count by helping others – by donating time to

organizations or charities. When we physically help someone or assist a worthy

and good cause, we become more aware of our feelings, understand ourselves

better, and gain greater compassion for the creations of others.

We are physical beings and need to physically experience our creations. We are

not victims. By helping others we can affirm our compassion for another's

creation. This gives us a better understanding of being a creator and a

co-creator.

*Helping Someone Who Has Not Asked For Help

We are aware that some people will ask their Higher Self for permission to send

healing energy to someone else, and their Higher Self has said `yes'. They

asked for permission without the knowledge of the other person. In our opinion,

interfering without permission not only takes away another person's chosen life

lessons, it can actually intensify their experiences--often causing them to

create something even more chaotic. Even though we may have the best of

intentions and generate only feelings of love, by getting caught up in someone

else's experiences, whatever energy or negativity that is around them can

rebound and affect us.

If we are asked by someone to do a remote healing for another person, without

the permission or awareness of that other person, we always suggest that we

first might work with them. Ninety percent of the time, after the session,

their Higher Self tells them they should not interfere with the other person.

If we try to help someone who has not physically asked us for help, we

intensify their creations and get caught in their experiences. Instead of

trying to help others without their permission, what if we have unconditional

love for ourselves and unconditional compassion for them just as they are?

Could they be better helped in solving their own life lessons by feeling our

self love and compassion and mirroring it in themselves? We can only really

help those who ask for our help in the first place.

By having complete compassion, this allows the other person to find that

energetic vibration within themselves which in turn, could cause an internal

change – a choice that anything is possible.

*Working on Being Me (by Ken)

Recently, someone told a friend of ours that I was 'making myself out to be a

God'. This came after 22 hours of teaching a course on 'Oneness' and

compassion, showing all the participants how to be a part of everything and

live a life without fear. We work hard to emphasize that the clearing techniques

and loving yourself can change you and you will become invisible to energy that

hurts. We also remind everyone that at the end of the course they will be

'more' than we are. They will have all their own knowledge and all the

knowledge we have - that makes them 'more' than us. There is nothing held back,

nothing that we hide from you - everything is already on our website - free.

So, what if I am a god? Not THE God, but a part of the creative energy in each

one of us. It's not about you believing it - it's about me believing it. Do I

believe what I practice every day (having compassion for all creation without

judgment or opinion)?

Okay - this is something personal for me - nothing that I need anyone else to

judge or examine. This is just my truth. For me, it's a challenge of balance in

living each day and still doing what I do every day - like what I've been doing

since July (releasing negativity - see next column). Living in the real world

brings all manner of stuff: cars, insurance, home maintenance, money, other

people... I've often said it might be easier to live in a cave with nothing

else to worry about. Being married is a full time job. With the amount and type

of energy I am working with every day, it's not always easy staying balanced.

Allowing myself to become reactive throws me off balance with my Higher Self.

Bottom line: I am still learning what I teach now and what I will teach about

in the future - being a part of God.

Thanks for reading,

Ken and
