FDB: Faith Immune Booster Causes Serious Harm To Health

The Food and Drugs Board (FDB), in collaboration with the National Security is

alerting the general public about a pharmaceutical product known as Miracle

Mineral Solution (MMS) or FAITH (The Immune Booster).

According to a press release signed by Dr. K. Opuni, Chief Executive

Officer of FDB, this product from South Africa with purported capabilities of

curing Malaria, Hepatitis and Tuberculosis, Cancer, HIV Aids, H1N1 Flu, Common

Cold and other conditions can cause serious harm to health.

“There is no Scientific Research that proves that MMS is effective in treating

any of the above mentioned disease conditions,” said the statement.

According to the United States Food and Drug Agency (USFDA), the product, when

used as directed produces industrial bleach that can cause serious harm to

health. The statement said consumers are instructed to mix MMS (which contains

Chlorine Dioxide, a potent bleach used for stripping textiles and industrial

water treatment.

“High doses of this bleach can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and symptoms of

severe dehydration, as well as Gastrointestinal complications”, the statement

underscored.

According to it in some parts of the world, MMS is distributed on internet sites

and online auctions by multiple independent distributors.

It said the general public is therefore being advised against the usage of the

said product and to report to the Food and Drugs Board or the Police anyone

found distributing or selling Miracle Mineral Solution or FAITH, The Immune

Fortifier.

“Information from the general public on persons suspected to be in any practice

possible of endangering public health and safety to FDB’s mandate is most

welcomed through any of the following contact numbers; 0244337235, 0244337252,
