Dear Jane:You did not do any punching, your physical body did. At that moment your normal awareness was kidnapped by some Psychotic Post Morten filled with violence and hatred, took over your body and acted in accord with its violent disposition.The only thing you did was to get so infuriated, that you lost the driving seat of "awareness" of your body to the Psychotic Post Morten who took over it and make the body do things that you would not normally do.No 12 step program can not help get rid of these guys for 2 reasons:1.-They are unaware of the Psychotic Postmortem.2.-Your WILL is shed aside in any of those programs and NOTHING obtained without the full participation of your WILL is worth pursuing.Remember the first step in those programs? "You are nothing without God, let God take you here and there to succeed". That is why they fail so often, they shed your Free Will and substitute it for

"God"You need no God to succeed simply because YOU ARE GOD IN THE FLESH and no other "GOD" knows you better than your GODSELF.What you have to do is to not take PERSONALLY.While your husband discharges his frustrations in front of you or towards you, look at him at as a child having a tantrum, do not respond, do not play his game.Play your game of higher awareness by just standing by and hearing what he say without reacting. Breathing deeply and holding as long as you can helps, count sheeps in your mind, do not use the Technique of "Mirroing" his behavior, etc., but do not ignore him since that will make him worseIf there is a possibility of physical harm, run away to the OUTSIDE of the house (close spaces increase exponentially negative emotions, open spaces bring in positive feelings)Finally, dont loose your cool since as soon as you loose it, the Psychotic will gain entry into your system.I am not
