Guest guest
It's very impolite on the computer to correct people's typo's, so I tried really hard to figure out what you could have possibly meant by "leied" (and I do have a good imagination!!!!) then it hit me on the head - HAWAII!!!! of course - so nice to know other country's customs :>) So what else happens on your birthday??? We have strange customs in my family - we kind of do a lot of procrastination - so one of my daughter's birthday, which was in June, the other daughters decided to surprize her and take her out to eat (and we finally found a restaurant which had food even I enjoyed!!) and it was my job to bring her without spilling the beans. What I didn't know that the other daughters had planned was to also belatedly celebrate mine (back in May!!!) which didn't make sense to me, as we had already celebrated by going cherry picking (was my idea) - if I can get my husband to put the photos up, I will - everything that could go wrong did, and yet it was the best celebration ever :>) So on your very very special day, wishing you great joy, great health, great friends, and not too much great eating of b-day cakes. Here the custom is to say "ad may-ya v'esreem" May you live to be 120 - a friend of mine just quoted a 10 year old grandson's question, what do you wish someone who is already 120?? Kids are great!! Guest guest
Hi Klara, Glad you were able to figure that out! I have always thought that it was a funny play on words. Not too many customs here... The usual giving leis for special occasions and eating b-day cake. Had a wonderful day, simple, and just enjoyed the company I was with and the gorgeous late summer day in Hawaii. It's very touching to me when people remember (like and ), call, send cards, give flowers, etc. Love to you, > > > > Just as I was replying to someone thanking me for CyberMacro's > > autogenerated birthday greetings to them today, remebering that > > ilanit's birthday was yesterday got me further rememberng that if > I was > > correct you once posted in the forum that your's was the day > after. > > Well I was not sure so got creative in getting to pull up > the > > exact message where you said so, and found it! > > > > Of course if had been checking Reggie's calender for the group > each > > day, then I would never be missing a birtday as it is right there! > > > > Hope you are having a great day! > > > > > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > Take the Internet to Go: Go puts the Internet in your pocket: mail, news, photos & more. >

Guest guest
Thank you very much. And likewise Dottie! You have so much wisdom to share. I appreciate all the things that have happened in my life, though some of them sucked at the time. Guest guest
Hi Reggie, Thank you! It was a very simple day including work, time to do yoga (so wonderful), and a great dinner with , his daughter, and his mother. I got a couple of beautiful leis, a huge bouquet of flowers, and some expected and unexpected birthday wishes that were very sweet. Hope your retreat is going well. > > > > Just as I was replying to someone thanking me for CyberMacro's > > autogenerated birthday greetings to them today, remebering that > > ilanit's birthday was yesterday got me further rememberng that if I was > > correct you once posted in the forum that your's was the day after. > > Well I was not sure so got creative in getting to pull up the > > exact message where you said so, and found it! > > > > Of course if had been checking Reggie's calender for the group each > > day, then I would never be missing a birtday as it is right there! > > > > Hope you are having a great day! > > > > > > >

Guest guest
HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!!! I am thanking God for you today! I agree with Heidi, because of the tireless drive you have, you have helped SO many! Thank you!!!! I hope you have a wonderful day and do something that makes you laugh and smile! I always say cake and ice cream are a must on birthdays. And a nice cocktail doesn't hurt either Cheers to you and dance all night! Happy, Happy Birthday ! We are so very glad you were born, you have no idea! Do something FUN today!!! Everyone on CAST may not know, but Early Treatment three dimensional casting for scoliosis, whether it be called Mehta Method, Derotational casting or EDF, it was not available for our children in the U.S. prior to 2005, due to the tireless work of this one incredible woman and mother!!! Always and forever she will be a hero to our family.
