Guest guest
Many people are not aware that we have spies among us. These people infiltrate anti-vaccine , learning disability forums, and many other groups. I finally realized recently that these same people are science bloggers on www.scienceblogs.com. These are also the same people that respond to news articles pretending to be parents who are pro-vaccine (spreading their hatred and lies toward the anti-vaccine community). They even go as far as to tell people their child/ren have Autism, Learning Disabilities, etc. Let's just say that I put all of this together when a person by the name of " Denali " whom I met last year on www.greatschools.net pretended to be a parent of a learning disabled daughter, also happened to be " Liz Ditz " who has her own " anti-vaccine blog " which I just discovered this past week - I realized that they are one in the same. She and her blogging pals also frequent the science blog too. http://lizditz.typepad.com/ http://tinyurl.com/5gog72 Well, this pro-vaccination group has announced that they are having a Pow-wow and have rented three floors in the back room of a bar for the event. Maybe some people would like to put some faces to their names? It is supposed to be a rather large gathering too (details may be also be found under the website listed above - category Respectful Insolence - Orac's blog). This section below was taken directly from their blog. The new spot will be at a bar on the west side called Social. Seed (who is the owner of www.scienceblogs.com) has reserved a room in the back, and it's three floors in case we need even more room. Details: 2pm-4pm on Saturday, August 9 Social 795 8th Ave (close to 49th St.) New York, NY 10019 http://tinyurl.com/6kbleu I do hope that many are able to attend. If I didn't live so far away, I would be there. PLEASE FORWARD THIS MESSAGE FAR AND WIDE! Thank you!
