Hi , I just had this procedure last Fri., it is called the Epley procedure, was created by Dr. Epley. The doctor I went to had me lay down and put this vibrator on the back of my head, had me turn it this way and that. The trouble is I did not follow the instructions well, as I was not supposed to tilt my head at all from 36-48 hours afterwards. They said you should wear a neck cuff if possible.

Anyway I was not prepared for him to do such a thing, just wanted to know why one ear rings and the other feels like it has something in it. He examined the outside drums and I guess all was fine, but still no relief for the problems I had. I did have a bought of vertigo last summer and tend to feel dizzy a lot. He said to cut down on caffeine and salt.

I haven't tried to Google it yet, probably find something there about it. He also gave me a handout for exercises to do called Vestibular Exercises, in bed, sitting, standing, and moving about. It is mostly moving your head certain ways and bending over with your eyes shut. Maybe something on Google about it too.

Carolyn

Re: Good grief!

Someone on here was talking about a procedure for vertigo using a vibration machine? What is that procedure called? Thanks a bunch for the help!

Hi Jodi, glad to hear the good news about getting the stuff off 's eye lids! ; 0 )

I guess I kind of panicked, haven't used white out in a long time, just remember something about the fumes being toxic to you, guess it was good he didn't eat it anyway, or get any into his eyes. Now that I think about it you should have taken a picture for Americas Funniest Videos. I really like that show and can never come up with anything good. Well over the weekend I took the kids to a park where there was a plastic slide and as my little grandson Lucas went down it we noticed his hair stood straight on end, it is long and blond and it all stood on end. I guess because his hair is so fine and light and from the static electricity because it was so dry out.

I got some pretty good shots so might send them to AFV if I can figure out how to do that.

Also I remember once I got sunscreen in my granddaughter's eyes and it really burned. We were at the county fair and I was trying to get it on her face so she wouldn't get sunburned, still feel bad for her, and there wasn't any water handy to wash it off real quickly, think I did finally find a rest room and washed them, she thought I was trying to drown her.. ; 0 (

Yes, that was what I was thinking too!

Re: Re: Good grief!

Gee, you could have made some jack sparrow eyes on his lids for him! LOL!
