Hello -

I am a newbie and mostly soak in what you write but I do want to share the

following information about Dr. Jane Goodall's new book....I received

information fro the Jane Goodall Institute seeking contributions to her new

book...I sent her a note about the Weston A Price Foundation and its work and

I hope she will contact them....

" Dr Jane Wants to Know:

Are you a practicing vegetarian or vegan? Dr. Jane is working on a new book

about how our food choices affect our lives and our planet, and she wants to

hear from R & S (Roots and Shoots) members who have chosen a vegetarian or

vegan lifestyle.

If that's you, please send a us a brief story with these detail:

- your name, age, mailing address, and email

- when and why you decided not to eat animal products

- how that decision has affected your life

- how it has influenced others around you

We're looing for compelling stories and delicious recipes: a few of the best

will be published in Dr. Jane's forthcoming book!

All stories and recipes must be received no later than August 1, 2002, to be

considered. Be sure to describe where you acquired your recipes (another

book? restaurant? your Aunt Edna?)
