San Francisco Hep B and Jubilee Project on Mission to End Hepatitis B

San Francisco Hep B and the Jubilee Project are together on the mission of

eradicating Hepatitis B from the world. It has come to light that they will be

putting an end on Hepatitis B and liver cancer by simply encouraging people to

view a music video. It has been told that the Jubilee Project produced the video

and conceptualized the campaign. " Why I Sing " , which follows the story of a girl

with Hepatitis B.

Eddie Lee, co-founder of The Jubilee Project said that through the video they

want to raise awareness for hepatitis B as it has been taking a toll over the

lives of many people and their families.

Hepatitis B also known as “silent killer” currently affects 1 in 10 Asian

Pacific Islanders as compared to 1 in 1,000 of the general public and it is also

a primary cause of liver cancer. However, it can be prevented by vaccination and

cancer by treatment.

The Jubilee Project is also in search of more sponsors to support its efforts to

eradicate Hepatitis B.

The project is a multi-faceted and comprehensive campaign to make America free

of hepatitis B disease and liver cancer through a nationwide collaboration, and

network of localized efforts. The project was first begun in San Francisco and

is now being replicated in Las Vegas, Washington DC, Philadelphia, San Mateo

County, Los Angeles County, Orange County, Hawaii and other municipalities.
