OK, that's pretty much what I was doing when I tried electroplating (it didn't

work, but it was a nice experiment). The colloid solution is so expensive I

figured it needed something fancy. Can you OD on silver?

Cool! Works and it's cheap too.

There's a great source of info on colloidal silver -- an email list whose

archived messages are located at http://escribe.com/health/thesilverlist/

Subscription instructions are in each message.

CS is usually taken in rather small doses, which makes some products not overly

expensive. One produced by http://www.csprosystems.com/ is one of them. It's 10

ppm. Another is produced by WaterOz

(http://www.wateroz.com/) and sold by third parties. Can be bought for

$44.00/gallon - 100 ppm.

I don't think so. Even cases of so-called silver 'poisoning'

displayed the sole symptom of people's skin turning gray. If

there had been other symptoms I am sure those would have been

ballyhooed big time.

I have 'forgotten' about my rig on the kitchen counter to find

it four hours later, with the solution blackish and big wads

of black fuzz hanging off the electrodes. After nerving up

my courage I drank it anyway, with no detectable effect other

than the lingering taste. So much for overdose, and my skin

never turned any grayer than it is now (Joke).

Oh, I had been fighting a hand and feet skin problem for twenty

years since we lived in Louisiana. At first I had thought that

using acetone without gloves caused it, but eventually a stubborn

toenail/fingernail fungus set in that proved hard as heck to

totally get rid of. Eventually I made the connection with sugar

when I got that out of my diet, and am convinced it is candida

or else related to it. I could even see the mycelia under a

magnifying glass. My doctor had not been much help btw.

Anyway I could get it to go away, but if I started eating sugar

or drinking wine or having any fun like that, boom, two weeks later

I would be fighting candida all over again. For years the fight

went on like this, and the mood stuff that candida does is no

fun. Last year I finally dawned on simply using silver colloid

every day, so I began. Within three months my toes and fingernails

were clean of any problems, and have largely stayed that way

even though I occasionally eat a bit of sugar. Ice cream, chocolate

cake, etc. Nobody can be a complete saint all the time.

At the moment I have one fingernail that is borderline. A little

too much chocolate and ice cream last month, so I am being good

this month. I don't have to do much beside the silver colloid though,

the fungus just goes away by itself now. I did however get an

ozone machine and have been having fun with that too, so my

results are not as pure as they might be. Hey, I am not a

scientist though, I just play one in my own mind! Or not.

> Dogs seem to live the good life in this group, I've noticed ...

My wife took the doctor approach when she realized her toenails

were fungal. Tried several doctors. One guy had her sanding her

toenails each night and applying this stuff that was a hundred

dollars a bottle. Not effective, or not to my wife's satisfaction.

So finally she has me split the silver colloid with her. She started

about two months ago and her big toenails have about a half inch of

clean shiny nail growing in now.

Has anyone else run into reports of some stubborn nail fungi

that have come on the scene the last few years? Seems like I

read it somewhere, but the media are keeping quiet about it

because it is so stubborn.

Our dog had been licking his paws a lot lately, and the vet finally

told us that perhaps it had a fungus in its nails. So you guessed

it, we split my morning glassfull three ways now!

Cheers!

Have you tried soaking you rfeet in it? or have you just drank it? My parents

make collodial silver as well and I have thought about trying it sometime. If

this works on feet problems my husband would love it...

Steve,

Where do you get the silver leads? I think I'll do some silver. Get

into electrochemistry a bit. Thanks for the info. Dennis

Soaking my feet in it might work, but I never tried it. The trick,

as far as I can imagine it, is to get the silver into the flesh

under the toenails. Toenails are pretty tough, and impervious

to water. Aren't they? That was why my wife was sanding her

toenails each night before putting on the expensive stuff.

Sigh, drinking something is or was way easier. I don't know what

to do. See my nearby post titled Apology...

Maybe I should just plan on argyria. Would be great to have

silver skin on halloween!

Steve, still sort of bummed

I forget exactly where I got the silver wires themselves. I think

I fired up Google and found a precious metals dealer. I remember

it was in Arizona, Phoenix. I remember the initials CC... Aha,

it was C.C. Silver. Try searching for that business name.
