He didn't say specifically, but I got the impression that it only worked for

correcting farsightedness.

The main difference is that remineralizing teeth is simply a matter of

building up, while repairing vision would involve reshaping your eyes. I

suspect that correcting your vision would be more analogous to straightening

your teeth than to remineralizing them. Of course, eyes are more malleable

than the dental arch, so who knows?

I understand the analogy but I think that the concept that stress alone can

adversely affect eyesight is a valid one. Bates, et al, believe that

removing the stress will permit the eyesight to normalize - that the lens

itself is not directly involved in focusing, etc. After a few lessons and

some hit-or-miss practice on my own I believe that one could, with

persistent practice, actually improve eyesight. I no longer wear glasses

after using Bates' techniques and find that my eyesight has improved

considerably. With good practice I'm sure it would improve even more.

Of course, I'm also using good nutrition to help improve the whole body,

including the eyes.

That wasn't myopia--it was blindness due to vitamin A deficiency. More

vitamin A certainly wouldn't hurt, but don't expect a miracle cure.

All of the above and anything else that contributes stress to the body as a

whole. Psychological stress is included - work stress - road rage - money

troubles - you name it...

I try not to take supplements but I sometimes do if they are from food

sources. I try, instead, to eat good, raw foods with the vitamins and

nutrients I need (example rather than take Zinc supplements I eat oysters

each week). I get sunlight and raw milk for vitamin D, and I'm taking

various oils (Flax, Borage, Cod Liver). Right now I'm taking a supplement

for the liver and some homeopathic remedies to heal the liver, etc. I am

eating Chinese Wolfberries (lycium barbarum) which are believed to be very

nutritious for the eyes (among other body systems).
