Guest guest
I have a book on my self entitled Relearning to See by R. Quackenbush. He deals with myopia in there. <<Can it be done? Has anyone done it? I am interested in myopia cases in particular. I am VERY nearsighted. What are some good books about this subject?>>

It was fairly expensive, but he swears by it. You could go to www.mercloa.com and do a search. I think there is quite an extensive description of it there. I am curious to see if my vision has improved since starting the Nourishing Traditions way of eating. I will be going for an eye exam this summer and will find out. If teeth can be remineralized, I don't know why vision couldn't be improved too? Of course it could take a long time to see results, especially since I am no longer a youngish person. Has anyone on Native-Nutrition experienced improvement in their vision? Sheila

I am almost sure that my vision has improved significantly (sure enough to schedule an appointment with my eye doctor to get a new prescription), but my vision is so incredibly bad to begin with that it's like I've taken one step in a marathon. But I am fairly confident that I can regain my vision perfectly, because I am still very young. The Lord has blessed me with this knowledge early enough to fix most of my problems. Of that I am almost sure

I remember reading about a man who had his eyesight restored by eating the fat stores behind the eyes of river fish. The Indians knew of this cure and caught the fish and gave him the fat. I think this story may be in an article at the WAP web site. Vitamin A and D, was thought to be the power house of healing in this instance. Maybe CLO will be a big help in restoring eysight. Do you take CLO or any supplement's of A and D? Thank you, Sheila
Guest guest
Interesting, I've been blind since birth in my left-eye. I can see blurred images with it, but I wonder if I increase my vitamin A if it would clear up some? Robin <<That wasn't myopia--it was blindness due to vitamin A deficiency. More vitamin A certainly wouldn't hurt, but don't expect a miracle cure.>>
